Peckham Temporary Library

Friendly staff, good space and a great selection of books! I go there every 3-4 weeks and always find new interesting books to borrow.

It's a cool place to be, lovely environment filled with lots of African shops 😀

I can't fault it. It's pretty nice and everyone tends to be quiet. I've been to libraries where folk talk loud, laugh and make phone calls. There's ample seating area and charging your devices is free. Wi-Fi is free. You do not have to be registered to enter, read books or work on your laptop. You do have to be registered to access services like borrowing books etc. In a nutshell, it is a pleasant library and has active helpful security. There's toilets too.

Very courteous, respectful and helpful Librarians all around the years that I have joined. I pray that god will continue to bless them and their Council with sustainability of this space in Peckham.

Handy library, sign says they're closing for a few months from December 2022, a temporary library will be available nearby.

This has temporarily moved to Bournemouth Street, if you go to this address on Google Maps it will be closed. Otherwise love the library! Great public resource

Very helpful staff, clean, spacious, new easy issue system with amazing choice of books. Was great to see school class utilise the library. The staff was reading Iron giant to a class. All staff wearing make the time I was their. The toilets could be cleaner.

Actually a great place for studying plenty of spaces and staff are quite relaxed. Only thing that lets it down is there is no water facility. Surely they could at least get a company to provide the large water bottle dispenser and have a donation box next to it.
Seems silly to have to leave the Library to get water.
