Given that it has volunteers working here, this is definitely the best library i've ever been to. I'd like to think i've been to LOTS.

There is tea, coffee and exvellent cake with a donation pot aswell as a chillaxed chillout area on soft chairs.
Several computers are connected to the internet and there are many books to buy or borrow.
There was a delightful activity for children with an adult on the beanbags and a fantastically vibrant atmosphere with talented and helpful staff.
I was allowed to come in 1 minute earlier because of the cold and the staff were too polite to chastise me for eating and drinking at a computer. I didn't see the sigh until i'd finished (oops).
The big layout and large number of volunteers help it, as does publicity via Facebook. I'm aware other villages have smaller libraries and fewer volunteers.
Anyway, well done everyone!

A lovely village library with onsite parking. Just a shirt walk from the centre of the village opposite the duck pond. It is staffed by knowledgeable, friendly volunteers with all the backing of the county's central library services. Limited opening so check before leaving.
