Atherstone Library & Information Centre

Popular town library open everyday except Sundays. It offers books, talking books, children’s DVDs, newspapers and magazines, computers with printing and scanning, WiFi, photocopier, fax service, local studies and family history service. For the younger reader, songs and rhymes for 0-2 year olds and parents and carers, session for 2-4 year olds and their parents and carers, a teen reading group, free computer and tablet drop-in help sessions for people aged 50 plus. A family history society operates from here.

I really miss going into the library and just browsing. Looking forward to the day that the restrictions are lifted. I miss chatting to the Staff and buying them biscuits to go with their cups of tea.

Friday 14th February 2020. I visited the library to apply for my Bus Pas, spoke to two lovely ladies who were so helpful, staff to be proud of, thank you .

Always really friendly and helpful, good resources and tidy layout. Always looks immaculate we are lucky to have such a lovely library, my son and I love to visit and pick out books together
