Nice friendly staff, well set out although libraries are not as popular as they used to be

The lack of bathrooms makes this library so uncomfortable for studying.
You have to pick all your things and go outside to find some toilets, and maybe when you come back your site is already ocuped.
Moreover, there are only 3 individual desks to study, so you can go in there and find that you have no place to plug your PC and study because 3 guys arrived before you.
Definitely not a good place to spend some hours studying

Lovely library with very welcoming and accommodating staff. Plenty of activities throughout the week and especially during term time. The staff are more than happy to help and always welcome you with a smile. Perfect children’s area which is large and some absolutely great books, they even have kids books in other languages so very inclusive. The adults section is good and there are DVD’s and CD’s too. Would highly recommend.

I enrolled at last in the local library and the assistant was so helpful in my enrollment. She was informative and eager to help with my questions. It's a great space to choose a new book or 3 and it's got a big thumbs up from an avid reader.

Today I brought to this library a book I found weeks ago, hoping they could give it a future. When I rescued that book it was soaked but after about two weeks I managed to dry it completely. Unfortunately the lady I spoke to told me that they couldn't keep it as it was in dreadful conditions and she literally threw it in the bin, while I was standing right infront of her. Now, I know this book has certainly seen better days but I believe it's far from being in dreadful conditions, as you can see from the photos I have uploaded. She could have just told me that they couldn't keep it instead of throwing it into the bin. I found her behaviour quite rude and disrespectful. I believe she could try to be more empathic in the future. After all, I didn't spend the last two weeks drying it out and walked all the way there just to see her toss it in the bin like a piece of trash.

Fantastic place of literary learning and entertainment. 4 Year old joined today.
Fab helpful staff...a fantastic public service which needs to be fought for should someone get ideas of closing it down ...etc etc

Amazing and a wide variety of books to read. The librarian was really kind and helpful as I forgot my card.
