Charnwood Lock & Key

I had accidentally snapped my car key in half, I have nothing else but this broken key to get a copy from. I called Vauxhall who quoted me £190 for a replacement. I called many cobblers/locksmiths but they were little to no help. Most of them wouldn't touch a broken key, and others didn't have a blank key available. I called around 10-15 places and received other quotes for £100-£150.

During my phone calls, Charnwood Lock & Key replied and offered to cut the key for £15. I took a taxi down to Loughborough and gave them the key. They offers advise on how the car transponder works and how to use the transponder from the old key with the new key. They were accommodating and had seating available while I waited, not to mention, good conversation! They are very good locksmith who know what they are doing. This isn't a cobbler who does key cutting on the side, this is the real deal!

I've used Charnwood Lock & Key many times. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help. The lock replacement service is good value and done in a tidy and timely manner. They also do key cutting in the shop while you wait.
