Ira came out to unlock my car and cut a new key. What a super friendly lovely man. Would absolutely highly recommend this tradesperson. He was fast turning up. Extremely professional and meticulous and good value for money. Can't speak highly enough.

Ira was my saviour! Came to rescue me being locked out of my car and despite its only keyed door being unused since new (or so it seemed by the debris that came out of it on an 11 year old car), persevered until he gained entry. What great service! What a great guy! Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely atrocious. Locked my keys in the boot of my Hyundai whilst staying at a Travelodge. Amber auto locksmiths came out the next morning, the writing was on the wall when the guy couldn’t find the car park despite a postcode and instructing him on the phone.

On to the “attempt” to pick the lock of the car - after no communication on what was happening and the guy calling all his pals for help he established that he had been using the wrong pick for 45 minutes!! After using the correct pick he was still struggling so called yet another pal before using airbags to pry the lock inside the car. This was a fail also as the car was double locked. We were due to check out very soon at this point and was told by the guy to not wait around for him as he wanted to go back in his van to warm up.

Cue a further 2 hours of fumbling and failing with the pick whilst my ill children had to wait around. He decided to have a casual call with a friend with me waiting for answers - absolute joke. To top it off he was quite rude and uptight whenever I asked questions.

In the end he had to call the guy that had mentored him and he packed up and drive away without a word to us. When I called him to ask if he was coming back and to get the number of the new person he put me on hold and hung up.

The new guy proceeded to do the job in no more than 5 minutes so we were on our way after 3 and half hours wasted..

I called Amber Locksmiths as I needed a spare electronic keyfob. I was delighted that they would come out to me and worked around my work schedule. Ira is a true gent and did the job without any fuss. I highly recommend.

A 20 year old MG TF bought with only one key and remote fob, felt need for a spare set. Requested quotes from several firms, most simply didn't reply, one said no. Amber responded, requested more information, prepared what was needed agreed time to come to my home.
