Wow. I'm going to start by saying that because our experience was amazing. We had thorough communication when things went wrong (payment wise), clean and peaceful. Although you are very close next to the other glamping huts it wasn't an issue due to the fences around. I couldn't fault it other than the closeness but again wasn't an issue. We loved the hot tub (very relaxing) and the fire pit and bbq we made use of all the areas. It was lovely having breakfast with a view. We went to Derham walk and clacton beach so lots to do around too. Honestly deserves more stars than 5. We stayed in lushna 10, which has bed, shower, toilet and kitchen area. We really connected on this holiday. Thankyou 😊

I will start with the good ones:
Clean, big space outside the pod, hot tub is excellent idea, comfy bed, there's hot water, temperature inside the pod is good. Trolley is a good idea, to bring a lot of stuff to your pod especially if they're bit further from the entrance.

Now things I don't like :
We have to bring the duvet and pillows (I'm not a fan of buying covid for a reason, coz in a hotel you don't need to bring these stuff),

No WiFi connection which is very important now....

water pressure is not really strong, so if you are 5 people inside the pod, and 3 of you have long hair, expect to finish the next day.

pod can be bit bigger I believe, so for four people you should have less stuff, as its gonna be uncomfortable inside..

no supply of even toilet tissue, the biggest security deposit I have encounter which is 250£, so we end up bringing our own stuff as we were worrying we might damage theirs!,

Now will i recommend it, totally up to you guys now, for me not really, especially if there are other better options of course.

We booked very last minute to stay here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed!

The communication with the team before we arrived had been brilliant, with clear instructions of how to use everything!

The facilities were lovely and we made use of the hot tub, BBQ and fire pit! The Armadilla was cosy, relaxing and well equipped!

Overall, we had a perfect little getaway and can’t wait to go back!

Had a stay booked here for 2 nights with 2 children and we wont be coming back again

You cant check in until 3.30 so you loose half a day there, then the next day, which would of bin our only full day, the power in our pod went out. We had two wait 1st for the maintence team to come out then for a electrician to arrive who was an hour away! We was without power from 8.30am until 12pm, the electrician said he had fixed it went to walk away and then it went off again! This resulted in us having to move all our stuff to another pod so basically we missed out on half a day, we'd had plans to be out early in the morning to visit a few places. Kids wernt happy, they were bored waiting around for hours we were stressed had all out meat and food in the fridge. I felt that we should have received some sort of compensation for all the aggro and for loosing half a day but the communication with them is absolutely awful and another couple staying there agreed communication is really bad as they'd had an incident the night before with police shining lights in there pod. I have emailed the person in charge Rob a few times but havent heard back from him. Its very disappointing we wont be staying here again, once they have your money and youve left they dont care!

Was a complete building site and full of flies
Went with a friend and our dogs on the 12th September, it's definitely not dog secure.
We had a digger and building site beyond the fence,it was noisy, and not a sign of the luxury you advertise, not even a call to say that there was a building site at the end of the garden
Will not return

I booked the Cart Lodge for my boyfriend birthday (x 2 nights) at the end of April 2021. Our first trip together as a couple and also in a non lock down world. The farm is ever so peaceful and quiet and serene. We went for walks in the am and also at night because of the sun sets. The rain stayed away too! May I point out that the pictures don’t do this place justice! The Cart Lodge is huge and airy and spacious! I was very surprised at how big it was. It was safe, well supplied with cups, plates, cooking utensils etc. Towels and sheets supplied too. The log burner was great which was needed because the radiators weren’t behaving but the lovely Manager, Emma, has assured me they are on it for future bookings. I would def book again but we are thinking of New Years Eve to get away from the madness. Highly recommend here for some r and r and peace! I feel recharged for sure! Thanks Lee Wick!

And thank you for the Birthday banner : )

Great stay here at the Lushna! Welcome pack very explanatory and staff helped with directions when they were hard to see in the dark! Hot tub was great and easy enough to get going. Room was heated adequately with the plug in heater they provide too. 😁
