Just a Bevy

Ok so my last review was not good but decided to give them another go and ordered my favourite wine, arrived within the hour plus a gift bag with another bottle of my favourite wine with a message as a sorry for mess up last week. Thank you, such a lovely surprise and I'm really grateful for such a lovely gesture. I 'll continue to be a customer 🙂

Quite possibly the most poorly managed overpriced place I’ve ordered takeaway from, £15.78 for a sausage roll, a corned beef bake and a big bottle of water. After an hour of waiting I call and they state that they have just put the things in the oven, and that they will take 25mins. When it did come the large freezing cold water bottle was just thrown in a bag on top of the warm stuff. The packaging was also drenched in grease, and the corned beef bake tasted of nothing, it felt like I was eating some sort of grey paste from a futuristic dystopia.

With all that being said the young lad who did eventually deliver food was polite.

Waited over an hour then went downstairs to meet driver when the deadline 15 mins away, waited 30 mins no show called them they said they would deliver but put me to the back of the que. Was quite shocked with the fact that they weren't willing to prioritise my order. Don't understand the business mentality. Driver was arguing and lying saying he was outside the hotel but he weren't as I was. Shocking service

I was not told 5 ton10 working days for refund frankly this day and age that's shocking seeing as funds can be taken instantly ....and it's been over 10 days I understand not all working days ....no need to be rude I am a customer used you quite a few times and always tip the drivers without issue

I understand it costs more but come on guys 24 hr delivery what do you expect the driver always polite even at 3 am and staff on phone I think was sophie forgive me if wrong is great this company deserves a lot more stars then recieved I would highly recommend great work guys and girls

i waited well over an hour and a half. called the restaurant 10+ times only for my calls to be declined, when my call was finally answered the person on the other end was quite rude. However the man who delivered my order was very polite and explained the reason for the delay. I would recommend to others if the estimated time of arrival was more accurate as the order arrived 40 minutes late.

I ordered off of Deliveroo this morning, only a couple of items and the order didn’t arrive until nearly an hour late. The items we received were also wrong. When we phoned the shop to see where our order was, the woman that answered the phone was blunt and not apologetic at all. The man that delivered for us as well wasn’t apologetic either for being almost an hour late. We would also like to add that they have advertised free delivery on the app if you spend a certain amount, we had ordered enough to go over this amount and then we were charged a £5 delivery fee which is extortionate. Especially when we don’t receive the order on time and receive the wrong items. We won’t be ordering from them again.

Ordered on uber eats, I have been waiting for over 2 hours to get my stuff delivered to me! No contact with me what so ever. I’m absolutely appalled by the whole service. Wouldn’t recommend (unless you’ve got a few hours spare)
