Altro Limited

Great service and excellent product. Asked for samples and they arrived the next day. I needed a couple more samples and they had no issues supplying them. They even called me to check what size sample I wanted so they could get the right size sent for me. Excellent customer service!

Avoid! We called Altro specifically asking recommendation for our dental surgery flooring product, suitable for specific contaminants, which was easy to clean.
First, when we received the flooring, it was significantly different than the sample we received; it looks like a dirtier version of it.
Second, the product was not cleansable. It is really not a hygienic product suitable for spillage areas as they told us, despite using Altro own-brand cleaning products (which are quite dear) and also using the specific cleaning techniques indicated in their manuals.
Despite numerous correspondences, including a site visit, they have been unhelpful, and passing the buck. Basic online searches will reveal lots of similar complaints and blogs regarding altro flooring. Would not recommend Altro. Buyer beware!

We had Altro flooring fitted in our wet room and it has never looked clean despite being cleaned regularly. I have been in touch with the company who fitted it for us but they were less than helpful. I would never have this flooring again.

We had a group visit to Altro which was extremely interesting and our hosts were very friendly and generous to people who would not be (directly) customers. The company clearly has a very philanthropic element and their employees seemed happy and enthusiastic. The vast majority of its manufacturing is in England. The company is still family led and restores one's faith in capitalism, this is how companies should be.

I'd avoid by all cost. We thought by going direct we would get a good rate, we later realised they over charged us (paid less for the same product being supplied and installed). They were incorrect sized panels however to exchange them we would be charged 35% Restocking fee. We decided to take the hit on the cost, but they have now taken 3 weeks to re stock them and now refusing a full refund as some items are "missing". Yet every item has been returned! Will not use again.

Worst flooring in the world. Please stay away don’t waste your money. No matter however much you clean this floor it never ever comes out. Horrible flooring.
