Great camping site, toilets and showers were clean and in amazing condition. Basic facilities as in no play areas etc but all that we needed - unfortunately only got one night here can’t wait to come again.

Just returned from a 2 night stay but would have loved to have stayed longer. Lovely quiet location- apart from the train line nearby but we didn't mind that as the kids loved spotting them.
Staff were all friendly and relaxed. Showers were fine with plenty of hot water and I never had to queue in the morning to use them. You get a key on arrival which lets you out by the pub and lock if you fancy a longer canal walk. Pub is a a bit pricey and not a huge amount of choice but great location.

Really liked the fire pit area where on one night we burnt some logs and chilled with our drinks and chatted until it got dark.

Would recommend for couples and families and will return again soon hopefully.

Stayed here recently for 5 nights. A great location by the canal. The site is close to the main railway line and a busy road, but we weren't disturbed by either. The amenity block is unisex, which was slightly disconcerting to us 'oldies.' Still, everything worked OK. The local pub is worth a visit. It seems to have mixed reviews, but we found it very acceptable. Perhaps not cheap, but they do have massive overheads nowadays. The site is protected by a code operated gate. We had a bit of a problem gaining access on arrival, but once we managed to contact reception, all was well. All pitches have a standpipe, which saved us some hard work. There were a large number of dogs on site, which was annoying. The owners didn't seem to realise that constant barking could be a nuisance. Still, we would be happy to visit again.

What a location, right by the canal. Reception is really relaxed; no list of 'does and donts'. There is a pub alongside, which is a real bonus. Leighton Buzzard just up the road if you need to shop. The amenity block is unisex: it's mildly disconcerting to listened to people carrying out their oblutions- if you see what I mean- literally under your nose......The grass pitch had, not only electric, but mains water as well. I know we will visit again.

We usedthe campsite as a stop over. Lots of room. Some road amd train noise but not overall intrusive. Lovely walk by the canal. We did go to the Gove pub which is nicely done put food was not as good as i would have expected for price. My lasagne was dry and my hubby got about 10 chips with his fish and chips. Staff friendly. The warden o thecampsite helpful and friendly. Toilets weekend and showers hot. Not to far to shops about 4 minutes in car to M&S food Aldi & B&M

Charming little spot on the lock. Great place to sit outdoors and enjoy some rays. Only stopped in for a coffee so can't comment on the food
