Lovely little cafe by the water, with ducks to feed a playground and free parking, what's not to love. Not the most accessible in a wheelchair propelling myself but with help I got round. When work is finished hopefully this will change to make park accessible too

Superb mooring spot, helpful and friendly attendant, loads of water points, clean toilets, short walk to town center, playground, ice cream and dog walks aplenty!

Lovely little area to visit, and take in the surroundings, have a picnic, or just go for a walk along the river. There is a cafe nearby, disabled parking and access, and another car park nearby

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, dog friendly, coffee and rolls and ice creams available from cafe on quayside. Toilets are open during main season. Area kept clean.
Been this morning, busy as Bank Holiday Weekend. All as previous post. We come regularly to walk the dog and to sit by river enjoy peace and calm.

Ticks all the boxes. Water, shore power and showers. We booked a mooring which was £17.50 for 24 hours and the Bear and Bells pub is only 5 mins walk away. Lidl also close by for stocking up

We spent a lovely few hours at the Yacht Station exploring Beccles. We got underway about 17.00hrs with intentions of mooring down river overnight. Sadly our boat had other ideas so we had to about turn and return to Beccles for the night. No sineage visible as to charges just ones saying "Have you paid?" Fisherman all over the place shining their head torches in our faces and being verbally abusive as we limped into the Yacht Station. Knowing that the tide would get exceptionally high for safety sake we moored side on this also avoided the lights from fisherman. Sadly toilets were shut and nowhere to find a combination code as a result we could not make use of the facilities. Next morning having partly resloving our engine issue we saw the Harbour Master. Bitterly disappointing that we were made to pay £17.50 for mooring overnight, side on. Were prepared naturally to pay to moor, but would have appreciated a little leniency on the charge bearing in mind the circumstances(a) its 8th November and hardly anyone there (b) could not use facilites (c) for safely reasons regarding the tide moored side on.

What has happened to compassion and understanding yet alone good old fashioned kindness? In the circumstances a little initiative could have been shown with regard to the fee we had to pay.

It’s a lovely area set in the middle of parklands so ideal for the children when off the boat .
Toilet facilities available and a deli and ice cream parlour also .
Electric hook ups available as well .
All in all very well looked after quayside well worth a visit from land or water.
