Farndon Marina

Lovely place for a walk and a picnic or lunch at one of the pubs. Nature reserve there and also lovely long walks along the river.

Nice. Quiet. Boats. Water. Nature. Good walks. Green rating: 🌳🌿🌲🌿🌳..... Village mostly quiet. Three pubs/eateries = good, friendly and food & drink available. Rose & Crown is dog friendly. Local shops & post office near by.

Absolutely love this place, was recommended Farndon by a friend here and haven’t looked back since buying & mooring here. All Staff are really helpful and the shop has good supply of parts & equipment. Other facilities are bang on. The grounds are very clean and peaceful. Couple of good pubs close by and other boaters here are great. 10 out of 10.

We've just bought a boat from this marina. Everyone who we dealt with was extremely helpful. There was no hard sale, they just wanted to ensure it was the right boat and we were happy with it. From the river trial, to survey and transporting out of the marina down to the coast, everything went smoothly. If we ever wanted a boat on the river we'd probably come back here - the marina and surrounding area is top class.

Must be one of the best kept inland waterways marinas. The site is beautiful and facilities well maintained. The river Trent between Newark and Nottingham is one of the prettiest section of inland water in the country and you have the option to access the sea and all of the northern waterways via the tidal Trent below Cromwell lock.

A great place to keep your boat .

The office staff are always friendly and efficient, all costings / fees transparent.

My Wife & I have visited Farndon Marina on numerous occasions looking for our 'Dream Boat' . The ladies in the Office have always been very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Over the months Alex Boden (Farndon Marina's Broker/ Marina Manager) has spent hours with us helping and advising us on our future boat purchase as we are fairly new to the world of boating .......... nothing is too much trouble for Alex. The cynics amongst you may say that he's being that way because he wants to sell you a boat ...... and perhaps there's a small element of that, but Alex has not once made us feel pressured in any way what's so ever, the whole experience to date has been 2nd to none. We've now put an offer in on one of their boats and are patiently waiting for the outcome of the pre-purchase survey. The Marina itself has a very nice, relaxed atmosphere with many of the boat owners happy to share their experiences / knowledge. As such, if we do purchase a boat, we would definitely be happy in mooring her here. ....... We'll keep you posted on the purchase.

Here's the update I promised you ............. The survey didn't identify any major concerns so my wife and I went ahead with the purchase ..... Thanks again to Alex and the whole team at Farndon Marina ...... a really nice experience from start to finish .
