What a fantastic place! The number plate on my car started to fall off and scrape on the road just as I was coming into Dover. I pulled up near the shop and explained what had happened. They gave me a screw , a screwdriver and some double sided tape and said "Pay us when you've sorted it". All it needed was the screw but their help and suggestions were - for a person about to miss his ferry to France - most valuable. Many thanks.

Never used this company before - I am an equestrian not a sailor! But I wanted some yacht rope for training my horse and contacted their shop to place the order. The young lady I spoke to, Sarah, was very helpful and advised me on the most suitable width. I asked if they could add an 'eye' in one end so i could fasten it to the headcollar and this was no problem, the work being done to a professional standard. Thank you very much, I may even buy some longer lengths for long reining :)

An amazing store. There is no shop so well established, and with staff pleased to help; in this town. A jewel in Dover's crown that has been with us for more than a Century and a half.

We have used Sharp and Enright for about 3 years while doing up our boat in Dover Marina. What a great shop! They have pretty much everything in the line of boat stuff, and if they don't, owner Sarah or one of her team will make sure they get it asap for you. So much better than buying online. Thank you Sarah for all your help.

Bought small items here before, for my campervan there really helpful and give honest advice. A nice friendly experience.!
Also they have gas for my campervan hair spray type can.

A good traditional chandlery with a wide range of well organised stock. Helpful advice and a real interest in what you are doing. Highly recommended. Visited June 2021.
