Maresia Spa & Massage

I was able to make an appointment at short notice due to severe pain in neck & shoulder. Maresia Spa recommended the appropriate treatment. The Spa is welcoming and clean with a calm atmosphere. My therapist listened to me and then began to massage, stretch my body & used hot towel treatments. She checked throughout the treatment that I was fine. My body, mind & soul really benefitted from the deep tissue treatment, thank you Maresia Spa

Booked a couple massage! Lovely atmosphere, a nice little steam section with refreshments followed by a massage was truly amazing! The masseuses were excellent in their techniques! Exceptional service by them!!
Will be returning soon!!

Only thing that I don't like is that they don't take card payments on amounts over £40.

Wow! What a great massage. Can’t believe ive waited this long to visit. I asked for a strong deep tissue and boy did i get one. Place was clean and staff were very friendly. Ask for mon she was fantastic! 10/10

I can really say I had an amazing Deep tissue massage which I really needed and guess what!! The massage was full 45 minutes. Ava was really good at the massage and such a lovely person, made me feel super comfortable and tackled the points that I needed on my back. Definitely recommend and going back very soon for my second appointment. Staff are super friendly and very welcoming too.. They just gained a loyal customer....

Absolutely fantastic... deep tissue massage was amazing. I recommend Dao she is a brilliant masseuse. Have already returned for a body scrub. Staff are lovely. Very clean establishment. Definitely recommend it

Was one of the only massages Ive had that felt like they were really doing it rather than just stroking me softly for half hour. Lovely ambience and nice service.

I have been here a few times in the past as it's nearby and I suffer from pain regularly but I went this evening and it was extremely disappointing and unrelaxing and the manager very rude, I do not recommend. This time, I was put in a couple massage room, with an adjoining door, which was very strange. It was about 5 minutes into my massage when I heard someone enter the adjoining room speaking very loudly for about 5 minutes with no sign of quietening down when I kindly asked the massage therapist to ask them to be quiet. She left for a few minutes and it seemed they had quietened down. However, throughout I could hear the woman in the room next door breathing extremely loudly and making other loud, annoying noises, and still speaking at different times throughout my massage. This combined with the massage therapist often doing some peculiar things such as having my legs off the side of the beds and pushing my neck up high whilst laying down, I truly couldn't wait for the massage to be over and even contemplated leaving early. When going to leave, I was asked how it was and I said - to which they said they were told about the noise and how it's a couple massage room which they don't often use, so why did they for me? They did not seem to care or apologise. When being asked to pay I said I don't think I should be paying the full amount I would have paid if it had been relaxing and quiet, as you'd expect, and the manager said oh well you have a discount already (they had a discount on for ALL customers, so don't see what this has to do with it) to which I responded, yes which I would have happily paid had the massage been actually relaxing and as expected. He ignored me and answered the phone to someone mid conversation and the woman at the front desk rudely said there's nothing they can do. No apologies. No compensation. I'll never be coming back here. Very upset and disappointed, what a waste of my hard earned money and in more pain now than I was going there.
