Only had my car in for an inspection but was impressed by Simon's knowledge and the range of cars worked on and the services offered. The appraisal of my car didn't come with any pushiness for work and was very reasonably priced. The guys clearly aren't short of work. I'll be back.

Simon and the boys did a hell of a lot of work on my poorly S14, turbo clutch and flywheel and timing chain replacement over the last 6 months. Always a pleasure to deal with him and the other guys there.
I'll be back with the car soon for some alignment adjustments once the engine has been rebuilt.

# took my car there on the 1st of october 2019 and finally got it back on the 3rd of january 2020
# I took my mr2 to this garage running with a misfire (this was the issue) and got it back a none runner
# simon told me he knew about mr2 cars then told me he doesnt no nothing about the car AFTER it stopped working
# Was billed £1288.97 for breaking and damaging my car as the front lip was pulled off ,the wheel that i brought 2 weeks previous to taking the car there was now flat and my side shirts were all bent
# Simon laughed when i told him if my tier had been slashed i will bill him for it
# when i told simon i aint paying the full bill as he basicly broke the car he told me i aint getting the car back untill i pay the bill
# He had replaced bits on my car that wasnt needed and tryed to make me pay for it .
# i then told him i will go to trading standards ( as i am ) and he told me to just pay for his labour and he will take all his parts off the car and he will charge me again for putting my parts back on . To this i told him takes his parts off but dont even bother to put my parts back on as i didnt want him to break my car even more
# went to pick up the car and there was stuff taken off my car that didnt even need to be taken off as well as my parts he unnecessarily changed
# i payed him £435 . Petty i no but was only ment to give £432 and didnt give the change back
# after giving him the money he went and sat in his office and refused to help me get the car out the garage
# my car is very low and i asked simon for wood to help me put the car on the tow truck but wouldnt give it but his worker kindly gave it .
This garage is a joke and rob people for there money .. avoid going here AND BEFORE IM TOLD I AINT RECOGNIZED AS A CUSTOMER MY NAMES ADNAN AND I GAVE YOU GUYS MY MR2

Simon look at my picture that was outside your garage does my tier look flat?
My car started with a misfire so if this was the case why did you call me and tell me the car wasnt running anymore but it has a spark?
I kept calling you to find out what you was doing next with my car and tell me when you told me the price of anything you had orderd ? And was anything you ordered the problem ? NO So there for it was unnecessary.
And you did laugh when i mentioned about my tier
My car was in your garage and the tow truck literally had to reverse and attached the pully wire to the car while still on the ramp were you had been working on it
So you sat in your office watching us on cctv but couldnt come and help??
And before i put my car on the tow truck my car was damaged and on monkey londons last youtube video uploaded .. i see you trying to push my front lip back on while it was on the ramp so please tell me that it wasnt you that damaged it ?
And you said on the phone "am i gonna spent all them hours taking off and putting your parts back on free of charge ,im gonna have to charge you for labour?YOU DIDNT SAY THAT NO?
Didnt you say you no about mr2s and then told me you didnt?(after you broke the car)
And if you like simon il replay all our conversations back to you as i have them all recorded and i also have before and after picture all taking in your garage.
I can see your trying to make me look dumb and silly but its ok . I always take precautions when taking my expencive cars to garages just incase something like this happens

Gave him my Impreza to sort out the rear arches rubbing very slightly.
I told Simon that i am very fussy about my car and was assured it was in good hands.
Was advised the car was done and that only a very slight amount of work was need to stop the tyres rubbing. On arrival to collect the car I noticed that the arch extension (widetrack) was basically hanging off and unstuck. Simon tried to sort out the issue with 2 sided badge tape with no success. I took the car and decided to take a closer inspection which I'm glad I did. Both arches were left in a state and it was obvious all he had done was to bash the inner lip out the way, probably with a hammer. he had split one of the extensions so obvious impact damage. The paint was also left unsealed and untreated and flaking off, appalling to leave it in that state especially in a wheel arch!
The guy clearly has no pride especially as he allows himself to be filmed on a you tube channel. I have since had the work rectified and would never use him again. AVOID

The decision of targeting niche cars via boosting advertisement through specific youtubers is a great deal. However, it does not live up to even adequate performance in many perspectives of being a specialist in this category.

Absolutely fantastic service, the guys at Carsons know exactly what they are talking about and stand out immensely compared to other garages. They are incredibly proffesional, friendly and hard working. They were able to fix an issue with my car that two previous garages had misdiagnosed/misunderstood what they are meant to be fixing.

As well as a great service the price is surprisingly low for how much of a good service you'll get. Strongly reccomend!

I found Carson Performance through a post on an Owners Club and I could tell the skill set they offered was perfect for me as I needed to get my 60,000-mile service complete on my GT86.

This job includes careful work maneuvering the engine to change the spark plugs, so I wanted it to be completed by a specialist; and that’s exactly what Carson Performance are. Simon and his team kept me informed throughout, was well priced and most of all cared. This meant I had the confidence that the job had been done by the right team and highlighted anything else to my attention which is important for people that pay attention to their own cars.

My experience does not match the poor reviews posted on here, would recommend Carson Performance to anyone that wants a team that cares about your vehicle and good quality of work.

Simon did a fantastic job of rolling the rear arches of my e46 bmw convertible. My 2nd time of using his services for arch rolling. Took great care when completing the job. Gained an additional 10 to 15mm of clearance. Top job. Thanks again.
