Giving this practice one star is too much! My mother is 78 years of age and paid into the national health service since it began! I walk in to the practice, which is empty, and told by reception that I should ring 111 or ring back at 1pm to book an appointment, which didn't exist! If there's such a back log of people to see it's surprising to see a waiting surgery empty! If you are unable to provide a service, close!

absolutely awful! my grandma appeared to have shingles so we she rang to book an appointment to get treated, she was told there were no appointments and to ring back at 1, she rang back at 1 and again were told there were no appointments and she should call 111. she called 111 and was on hold for a ridiculous time, she couldn’t get through so she put the phone down! they went to the surgery and it was EMPTY! they told her they can’t do anything about an appointment. they called the doctors the following day and they told her again there were no appointments and to call at 1 so she did, she was on the phone for 45mins before being listened too and they told her they can’t give her an appointment so she should call 111 AGAIN!!! my mum told them she’d done this twice already and she nor my grandma could get through! they said there was nothing they could do. why have a health care that can’t do anything to help?. absolutely ridiculous my grandmas nearly 80! you won’t get an appointment so don’t bother!!!

Reception is grubby with bits of paper all over the receptionists windows. Seems that the sole role of the staff here is to delay/ put off patients from seeing doctors. Needs restructuring, rigid times for arranging appointments means everybody has to telephone at the same time. You are number 10 wait a further 30 mins !. I know they get awkward service users but relax the appointment system!.

Called for a routine appoint. Had tried to get through on 2 other days but long waiting meant I had to hang up. Got through today after short wait. Had phone consultation within hours and offered a face to face appoint for 2 days later. Very caring receptionist and clinician. Happy with the service I have received. Debbie

Had an appointment (for a whole months time! Earliest I could get)
My symptoms got worse so arranged an emergency appointment. . For a week later. A phone call appointment. No time was given to me.
I waited in today. Stayed off work.
Waited all day.
I called nearing their closing time to ask why I hadn't been called.
They cancelled my appointment. Both my month away one AND my emergency one.
When asked why both had been cancelled the receptionist said
Its been cancelled. I'm not going to argue with you. Call 111 if it's that bad.

There's 1 receptionist who works there who's lovely and then theres one who seems mean, I just talked to her and she really didn't seem to care about my situation, not even an apology or anything.

UPDATE
They dropped me as a patient because they found out I moved. I need a doctor and I have no doctor to go to for another 2 weeks!

This practice is playing with people's life. Money making place, lack of empathy, no communication skills and no medical support. As a medical staff myself who I offer my best self everyday for my patients, this practice is a disgrace. Unbelievable how they can mess NHS by sending everyone to A&E because they don't bother to do a referral or to SEE and EXAMINE the pt. Unbelievable how incompetence became this solid in NHS and more important for poor people. Only today I tried 15 times to get a space in the queue and this after I called 3 minutes before 1pm and I've been told they cannot booked me before 1pm 😹😹😹.

I waited patiently for more than 1 week after booking an appointment to see a GP only to be directed to see a nurse for new patient review. My worst hospital experience so far.

Do not register for this practice...reception staff are exceptionally RUDE and unhelpful and they sound like they hate their jobs. It is impossible to get an appointment and on two occasions I had to go to a&e because I could not get to see the doctor...and NO flow up from them after my a&e visit. When I did get a telephone appointment...both attempts from the surgery went straight to voicemail despite my phone in my hand ready to recieve the call....I called back immediately to speak to the doctor but was told I had missed my slot and to call back tomorrow, join the queue to book another appointment....when i need them they are not responsive but send me regular correspondence for me to come in for a check up...if this surgery was selling a product...they would go bust because no one would want to buy it...God help the NHS with surgeries like this one about....
