Absolutely ridiculous. Says appointments available between 8 and 6:30pm so why can I not get a telephone appointment after 5pm? Told the Dr's have all gone home. I work full time 8-5:30/6pm Monday to Friday and need a medication review. I am looking into other GP surgeries. Editing to say I am now going to be without my medication because I CANNOT get an appointment after 5pm. I have been told this twice this week now that appointments don't go on after 5pm

I give this 5 stars because my Husband and I have had and still do have wonderful care and prompt attention to any issues with our health.
Also I want to say Julie on reception is extremely professional, helpful and caring, Many thanks from Pete & I :-)

After a wait on the call waiting, managed to get two doctor appointments same day. Have phoned a couple of times since to get sick notes and these were actioned immediately by text message. Really good service under the circumstances. Everyone very friendly and very helpful. Thank you.

Reception staff always lovely and helpful and so far my experience with the doctor's themselves has been nothing but positive and thourgh.

Having self managed my ailments so far it was with some dread I conceded and contacted the surgery yesterday. I was 10th inline but my wait was not too long and the receptionist was extremely polite and listened on answering. She swiftly dealt with my needs resulting in a telephone appointment with Dr Potts today. He too listened, understood and offered advice, treatment and referral. His time was very much appreciated and the link to a web he mentioned, prescription and referral came through within minutes of our call ending. I am without doubt gratefully impressed!!

I was assigned the Moir Medical Centre 18 years ago when I moved here. Firstly the receptionists are great, as well as the nursing practitioners. The over all service is appalling. From follow up appointments to referrals, they never happen unless you chase them. In the 18 years I have been there I have never seen the same doctor twice. They have once reviewed my son's kidney problems, despite being instructed by his consultant to do so.I was going to change however Covid hit so I couldn't. I will move as soon as I can.

Unfortunately I agree with most of the comments. I’m struggling to give it a one star. Arranging appointments is like pulling teeth. Over the past three weeks I have been totally unsuccessful in speaking to anyone to arrange a blood test for my wife. You spend two minutes or more being told by the owner that you should go everywhere else before hanging on the line to speak to a person. I thought my luck was in the other day when I was told that I was second in the queue only to wait over 20 minutes when I was cut-off! On recent attempts to get through I am told consistently that I am 12th in the queue, needless to say I hang up.

When there is so much bad press for GP surgeries at the moment I just feel I have to say how impressed I was with the entire service I received from the practice last week - from the receptionists and the GP. I called the surgery at 8.00am and by 9.10am I was sat talking to the GP - and so very glad I made the call. Many thanks to all concerned.
