The worst doctors surgery of all time. Can’t see a doctor face to face. They never call when they promise too. Never get results on time been waiting for over a week.

Poor communication between local boots chemist and the surgery.
My father ended up in hospital over something that they should have spotted.

They really should be ashamed of the the poor standard of care they give.

You can’t get through on the phone and when you walk in to see the receptionists the genuinely don’t care and just want you out the way. They do what they can to avoid doing their job. Waited in all day for the head doctor who said they would turn up they never did so another trip to hospital.

This surgery puts pressure on the ambulance and hospital services unnecessarily. If I could give you 0 stars I would.

A disgrace to the local community!

One of the reasons to move house is to be near a decent doctors. All new builds in area I hope you read all these horrendous reviews and don’t join this doctors.

i have never seen such rude receptionist and supervisor who dont care about why you need the appointment. I am so disgusted by the responses i got from both ladies! i cant get a urgent appointment been told to call at 8am i actually called 153 times and the lines were busy makes me think they deliberately put the lines on busy and then when we get through no appointments go to urgent care how dare she say to me go private excuse me do your job and do not tell me what to do !! why am i with a gp if i am not able to see a doctor!!! i will take things further now with this gp! Disgusted!

Please don't ask patients to come in if you feel they should not be seen. I explained on the phone that my baby had been ill overnight and was asked to come in. When i explained this to the gp she got annoyed and said this was no reason to bring him in. This is fine I understand that but as a first time mum I rang the gp for advice. It's not my fault I was asked to come in. Please don't make patients feel silly. Communication between the surgery and the pharmacy is appalling, I had been waiting for my inhaler after suffering for days from asthma only to find out the prescription had never been passed onto the pharmacy. It's the simple things like these that really need to be improved. Otherwise more people will end up in an already over burdened a&e.

Kept hanging on the phone for 15 minutes and then when they picked up the phone (I could hear the receptionists talking!) I was immediately cut off. It has taken 5 calls to actually get through to make an appointment. Pretty poor service.

The doctors are great but that's if you get to see one... You have to be a very special person for the receptionist to allow you access to an appointment regardless of a lifetime of paying national insurance. The receptionists are so rude.. there will be people that have severe illnesses that could have been avoided because they were reluctant to call the surgery it's such an awful humiliating experience on the phone.

Let me preface this by saying , I am not a regular review writer or participate in public criticism .The doctors who we see regularly, are very good at valley view, however we have been patients for a number of years pre pandemic.

That out of the way, we felt moved to comment on the level of service and attitude provided and experience in particular that from a few members of the receptionist staff. A particular member of this team is constantly abrupt, impatient and of little help, we find her so unpleasant to deal with we have taken to hanging up if they answer and calling back for another staff the member. They desperately need some new faces/voices in this area of the clinic, and some mandatory training on customer service standards.

I would also like to point out that we are a younger couple with regular needs , but that are treatments should at this point be routine, I mentioned this as I am aware that people involved in health services are hard pushed at the moment, and didn't want to take anything away from the excellent work provided.

I've only had to deal with this surgery during the pandemic, but once while I was in a lot of pain and needed antibiotics I dialled this surgery 124 times from 8am onwards, and when I finally got through was told to use OTC meds and call back in the afternoon. When I tried to explain that I needed antibiotics , the line cut off.

Today I've dialled them many times in the morning with no success and dialled 96 times at 2pm, their afternoon calling time. Got through three times and the line cut off each time. Got tehiifh for the fourth time and the receptionist was rude. It was for the same issue that was left untreated from last time and I'm currently in a lot of pain. NHS 111 only told me to contact my GP and urgent care clinics have also told me contact GP. it's impossible to contact a doctor at this place. And the receptionist is obviously having a hard time at work but takes out her anger and frustration over the telephone by being rude and callous. I burst out crying after the telephone call with her because I'm now at a dead end and can't get treatment.
