Poor communication between local boots chemist and the surgery.
My father ended up in hospital over something that they should have spotted.
They really should be ashamed of the the poor standard of care they give.
You can’t get through on the phone and when you walk in to see the receptionists the genuinely don’t care and just want you out the way. They do what they can to avoid doing their job. Waited in all day for the head doctor who said they would turn up they never did so another trip to hospital.
This surgery puts pressure on the ambulance and hospital services unnecessarily. If I could give you 0 stars I would.
A disgrace to the local community!
One of the reasons to move house is to be near a decent doctors. All new builds in area I hope you read all these horrendous reviews and don’t join this doctors.
That out of the way, we felt moved to comment on the level of service and attitude provided and experience in particular that from a few members of the receptionist staff. A particular member of this team is constantly abrupt, impatient and of little help, we find her so unpleasant to deal with we have taken to hanging up if they answer and calling back for another staff the member. They desperately need some new faces/voices in this area of the clinic, and some mandatory training on customer service standards.
I would also like to point out that we are a younger couple with regular needs , but that are treatments should at this point be routine, I mentioned this as I am aware that people involved in health services are hard pushed at the moment, and didn't want to take anything away from the excellent work provided.
Today I've dialled them many times in the morning with no success and dialled 96 times at 2pm, their afternoon calling time. Got through three times and the line cut off each time. Got tehiifh for the fourth time and the receptionist was rude. It was for the same issue that was left untreated from last time and I'm currently in a lot of pain. NHS 111 only told me to contact my GP and urgent care clinics have also told me contact GP. it's impossible to contact a doctor at this place. And the receptionist is obviously having a hard time at work but takes out her anger and frustration over the telephone by being rude and callous. I burst out crying after the telephone call with her because I'm now at a dead end and can't get treatment.
