Bull Farm Primary Care Centre

I don't usually take the time to leave reviews but feel that the excellent patient care myself and my family have always received over the years at Bull Farm Primary Care Centre needs to be shared....
I have always found the receptionists to be polite and helpful and the doctors as well as the practice nurse's patient care to be nothing but first class.
The doctors I have seen in all the years as a patient there have been approachable, made me feel listened to and have always delivered excellent patient care. The treatment I have received as well as my family has ensured we have all had the best personal health and social care when needed and I cannot praise the surgery enough for this.
I'd also like to add that the doctors who are there now Dr J Crossland and Dr S Patel are two of the best I have come across.... easy to talk to, genuinely interested in your well being, give invaluable advice and support, always make prompt referrals if necessary and most importantly never make you feel you are wasting their time... all the things you want and need when dealing with personal or sensitive health issues or concerns.
I cannot recommend Bull Farm Primary Care Centre and the service they provide enough, definitely a 10/10 from myself and my family!

Bull farm surgery has just moved to Oakwood surgery i believe. Tried to get though the appointment line 2x now just to be told lines are busy and to be then cut off! How the hell do you get an appointment! Never had is problem under the previous trust.

You've got more chance of taking on 300 Spartans with a spoon than actually speaking to someone and getting an appointment! Call at 8.30 to be on hold for 40 mins (queue pos 27!) To be cut off at queue pos 4, currently on hold AGAIN and it's now 9.45! If it wasn't for the lovely GPs I'd move surgery.

It’s now Oakwood surgery and it’s awful. The doctors are great if you can get an appointment, I’m going to start going down to the surgery first thing to make my appointment and think everyone else should do the same. Then they will have lots of people in the waiting room that they must see. I’ve been trying the weeks to get through with a problem that’s now getting worse. I’ve truly had enough of their disgraceful system.

I have been going to Oakwood surgery for 6 years and what an absolute waste of time its been, went here for the first time for acne just to have the guy look at me then my treatment history and was stunned i was never sent to a specialist and instantly submitted me to see one.....got more progress in 5 mins here than 6 years at Oakwood.

Only down side was the fact my appointment was late by 30 mins but i don't really care, 100% would go here over Oakwood any day of the week.

Worst decision I made to change doctors. Can you get an appointment? No. You phone, the automated think says busy then cuts you off. What is the point? First time I have needed an appointment in years and cannot get one. Avoid!

Been trying for three days to get an appointment, each time ringing just after 8am, the long winded automated phone service is a joke, either cuts you off saying all phone lines are busy or puts you in a queue, at which when you do get through the phone line just rings out and cuts you off. Terrible and antiquated system. No wonder A&E gets overwhelmed.

Tried ringing for appointment 08:30 not sure how many times only to be told line busy try again later.went to surgery, tried to explain got eye infection.tried stuff from chemist not worked. Told I must try again tomorrow. Receptionist like a robot.
