The High Street Surgery

No wonder why people kill themselves, i would too if i had to regularly contact this place. You go to their website to book an appointment, it says go to the GP, you go and they say go online, you try and it says you need a username and password, you go back and they say oh online's suspended, please call at 8am tomorrow. If i had something wrong with me, it'd be far too late to diagnose because of the military operation to actually get an appointment. Best bet is to go to the walk in at Chase Farm Hospital. If you have no way of getting there, then sorry, you're probably going to die, wish you loved ones goodbye.

May as well not exist, 70% of the time urgent care is the only way to see a doctor if this is your practitioner. They either have you in immediately or don’t respond at all. Repeat prescriptions have to be chased, even by my pharmacist, the process is hit and miss each time.

They force you to access inappropriate care.

I would just like to leave a positive review for this amazing Practice. It seems that too many people like to jump on with unnecessary spur of the moment negative reviews without really thinking about it. I have been a patient here for a number of years along with my family. I recently had issues with my mental health, needing advice. My partner also had issues regarding prescriptions. The way all of this has been dealt with is second to none. I would also like to thank the Practice Manager as well as the frontline staff because she was communicating with me pretty much all day regarding the advice I needed. She has also since made a welfare call to make sure I was ok. Thank you High Street, you're doing an amazing job!!

I had a swab and smear test with Emily this afternoon. I was anxious due to other tests I received.

She made me feel at ease and was extremely patient and kind.

Reception staff are amazing, really kind and really go out their way to help you. Very friendly and understanding. Couldn’t thank them enough!

I've been a patient here for 5 years. I posted a while ago as they were improving but now the surgery is failing its patients. It took me 3 weeks ringing for the pharmasists but being in a queue of at least 10 each time for a medication review. I ran out of one medication just after I started calling and have had to go without. I sent several emails.
No matter what time of day I called, I was even on hold as caller number 4 for 25 minutes. I've wasted my breaks at work doing this. I still haven't got through. I sent emails saying I just needed a medication review, do you have the pharmasists direct number. These were not responded to. I'm very disappointed how poorly this practice us run. It's not the doctors, they are excellent. It's the office support and this is the practice managers failing. Please get better soon High Street Surgery. Pardon the pun.

Sending a massive thank you to the Receptionists and to Emily, the Nurse who helped me today. They are all so kind and helpful. Really make you feel welcome and at ease and always there to help when you call or walk-in.

I have beıng regıster thıs g.p for almost 2 months and ı ask them to reffer me to the hospıtal beıng havıng very bad paın ın my legs and arm for a month and have numbles cant do anythıng at home sufferıng wıth paın and they dont even gıve me any medıcatıon when ı ask for they dont even care what you go through wıth paıns and the keep sayıng that they only book apoıtment for urgent patıent and they tell me book apoıtment and ı done 3 tımes and they wıll call you and they dont call me and when ı call back they tell me you need to come to the and see the doctor ın surgery ı have beıng keep bookıng but becuase am not urgent they dont look after you have do you now am not urgent am urgent why ı keep call you to book apoıtment sorry ı really dont want to go back to thıs g.p agaın and ı wıll not recommend anyone to thıs g.p
