This practice is the worse I have ever had. I went to see my GP about a serious condition, and nothing was done. The practice refused me my meds although I have been on them for years. I had to phone the practice about an on going medical problem and the receptionist would not give me a straight answer, she put the phone down on me when I pushed for an answer. Appointments are not kept to, I have to wait 20 after my allocated time. BAD BAD PRACTICE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Very long waiting times and delay (once over an hour, usually at least 40 minutes). GPs prescribe Aspirin for nearly everything, while taking a cold and non-personal approach with the patient. Rude secretary refusing to help with getting a repeat prescription for medicine that is meant to be taken several weeks in a row. The only positive side is the genuinely friendly and caring approach of the nurse practitioners.

I have been a patient at this practice for 9 years. I have always found them to be very professional in their approach and considering the changes they have gone through over the last couple of years with the merger of the Shaftesbury practice, I feel they provide an excellent service in what is a highly pressurised environment. I take advantage of using the online system to book appointments and order prescriptions and have never had a problem booking an appointment when I need one. In one instance where I needed to obtain an appointment promptly, I visited the practice in person where the receptionist was able to offer me an appointment that afternoon.
The only area for improvement I would suggest is to try and stick closer to appointment times as this can be frustrating when you have been sat waiting for 20 mins and still not been seen. I appreciate that this is sometimes out of control of the GP's, Nurses etc...as emergencies do occur and a 10 min appointment is not always long enough but surely this is down to us as the patients, to make sure we are not abusing the scarce resource of GP's and Nurses

Logistically shocking, no continuity, no record of my midwife appointments. Yet they want to preach at me because despite no risks, they want to induce me 2 days earlier than anywhere else in the UK....because it's they're procedure. Absolutely bonkers. Will be changing surgery before my daughter needs to see someone.

The receptionist had to be told three times that polio is an oral vaccine not injected, when I was discussing my daughter coming in for a tetanus jab. She was telling me it was in the same jab, which is actually diphtheria.

Perhaps she should have remembered her job was just to book people's appointments.

Very disappointed with the results of a recent appointment. Apparently I have had a hiatus hernia since last March when I saw a practice nurse and went for an urgent xray, waited for the results, nothing so assumed it was clear, I now learn that the surgery tried to contact me but was not successful, I have a answer phone or a letter would work but am told that they could not contact me so nothing happened.
I have progressively suffered from shortness of breath since then and it was in desperation I saw another doctor on Friday who immediately decided to write to the hospital for an appointment for me.
I would really like to know why there was no follow up to the effort to contact me?
This has shaken my faith in the NHS and my local surgery.

I am a new patient and found the online joining process very efficient. I was able to speak to a doctor today who handled me with care and intelligence. The reception staff I have dealt with have been so polite and helpful. Excellent experience so far. Thank you

I wish I could give 0 stars, 1 is far more then deserved!
I have contacted them on 3 different occasion to have my prescription renewed since I joined this practice a year ago and still have not received my medication. However, I draw the line when I am not able to get even a call back within a week regarding my 22 month daughter who has been unwell. As a nurse I was aware of the medication she needed which ordinarily needs a prescription because of her age, a simple task, I had to get a private prescriber instead! Still no communication from the surgery.
