Appalling doctors surgery, Dr Browne would be heart broken at its decline
Rude unhelpful staff, impossible to get an appointment, I have been advised to use walk in clinics in Gravesend, Sidcup or Erith as no appointments available for 2 weeks!!!! This was after being on hold for over half and hour due to a faulty phone system. I have had numerous problems with this surgery for the last few years, I have not received urgent test results and have had to phone the hospital directly only to be told that the surgery had received them days before, I've arrived for booked appointments that have been cancelled as they were booked incorrectly. I have complained by letter and not received any response . Every time I try and use this surgery there ends up being a problem and I only go to the doctor once or twice a year, if that. Heaven help you if you have a serious medical condition. They have too many patients and not enough staff. Time to move to a different surgery.

The receptionist and the doctors are the worst I’ve ever seen,
I had a horrible back pain, the pain was so strong that I could not get out of bed,
I called the gp for 2 weeks every day, morning and afternoon, no one ever answered me, so I went directly to them,
it was empty, the ladies at the Reception were idle, they scheduled a call with my doctor, she called me and very insensitively and rude she told me that she can't do anything to me just to give me pills, I took the medicine for a month but the pain got worse and I called again, no one answered and I went to them again, the same doctor called me again and when I told her I didn't want to pills because nothing has changed, but I want a control to see what is wrong with my back, she almost screamed at me to stay like that until over 3 months when maybe she finds a place to check me out, and my husband as well, was found in the blood test with something serious and since last year in August, after 10 calls they did not control him ...
my advice is not to go there as you don't solve anything and if you have something serious it will get worse.
Because after 3 months I still have my back pain and they didn’t care at all.

Literally no stars. Just the absolute worst service. No appointments and you have to wait on the phone for nearly an hour a time to get through to anybody. Then when you go to the surgery its dead..no one in?? Covid is now an excuse not to work. Terrible.

I don't think that they even deserve a star. After I was discharged last week, the discharged team assured me that every GP has practise nurse where they will take the stiches off immediately on the same day or next day you call them.
When I tried calling the Surgery, after an hour finally someone answered and said we don't have practise nurse for today. I said can you give me any day available. She answered rudely,we don't have any practise nurse thruout the week, go to grevesend community walk ins. I called grevesend and told them about surgery, they said its not possible not to have practise nurse, every GP surgery must.
Secondly ,I am off the area so we can't treat you, you need to go Darren Valley Hospital, major.
Finally I went to Darren Valley, and initially they didn't allow me to enter as its GP surgery practise nurse job. But as I work there, they did allow me to see GP there.
Imagine having recent surgery, waiting hours was nightmare for me.
God's grace one of the staff saw my condition and took me immediately to one of the doc.
She said, ru serious, u can't be here after the Surgery as you can catch quick infection.
When I explained about surgery, she was socked and took the Surgery name and quickly treated me.
I am going to write about the Surgery to Care Commission Group for not providing the necessary service and putting patient life and health at risk.
Staff are really rude and unhelpful.

Like many others, I just cannot get an appointment.

A few years ago they let me down very badly by allowing an inflammatory disease to spread despite me going back to them time and time again in pain.

They later admitted that they hadn't followed the problem through And I was told that the delay wouldn't have made much difference. Well it certainly did as I'm now in constant pain

I was also advised that a doctor cannot know everything true but she could have looked on the internet for more information.

Doctors are supposed to have a duty of care but it seems to have left this clinic

Quite possibly the rudest receptionists you’ll ever meet , being seen face to face or even getting a telephone appointment is near impossible. Receptionists also hang up on you whilst your trying to talk…. Avoid avoid avoid

Poor service! It's almost impossible to get an appointment and at best you will get a call back from the paramedic. However, you don't get given an allocated time slot for this call (which is ridiculous) and if you happen to miss it (i.e. if you are working), then you can say bye bye to your telephone appointment and then you have to go through the whole stressful process of trying to get to talk to the receptionist to re-book, only to be told "sorry, you need to call back tomorrow at 8am and try again, or you could call 111 or go A&E"...ridiculous process and stressful for the patient. There is also no longer a queue waiting number whilst you are on hold, and you therefore have no idea as to where you are in the system. It took me four calls to get through which amounted to 82 minutes in total and I called at 8am on the dot! I just cant imagine how an elderly patient manages the booking process and do worry that they just give up trying, as it proves too difficult. On a final note, how on earth is this surgery still accepting new patients? - it is actually beyond belief, as they cant even offer anything close to an adequate service for its current patients.
