I changed surgery’s in the local area and I and my mum (who has dementia) joined the Misbourne Practice and I am so happy I did. The receptionists are a delight and doctors that I and my mum (who has late stage dementia) see are superb. My mum often has to have a home visit and I get a appointment pretty much same day which the other surgery use to tell me a home visit wasn’t wasn’t always possible. Their dementia understanding is extremely good and I can’t praise this surgery enough. Another bonus when you call you get through within minutes.

Receptionists do not seem very interested in helping or redirecting, or understanding your query. Appointments are difficult to get. If you are in emergency, you can forget about this practice.
I had to book a private GP to take care of my issue, because this practice was unavailable and the receptionists( three of them) did not seem to understand my question. In the end I managed to get them to " leave a note in the system" and then I had to rely on " the doctors will see the note and see if they can respond"
I do not think a GP practice should be run this way, they are unavailable to anyone, most appointments were made for weeks ahead and they are usually by phone. I do not recommend.

Amazing practice. Great, attentive staff. Ladies working in reception very kind and always professional. Quick and reliable service. Dr Bartkiewicz the best GP ever! I’ve tried to get proper diagnosis of my condition for 7 years. Dr Bartkiewicz diagnosed it quickly simply because he actually listens to his patients and is an excellent doctor I will always be grateful to him and the amazing Surgery staff for their help and assistance despite working in the most challenging time in the whole history of NHS. Thank you.

I am extremely disappointed and repulsed with the service at this surgery, my father called on behalf of one of his son’s deteriorating mental health and all he asked was to talk to his doctor over the phone on the matter which has been discussed twice before and the receptionist wouldn’t even pass on a message but did advise us to write to him personally!!! What a service!!

Reception not really interested to help and getting an appointment is like winning a lottery and not possible to get same day emergency appointment for kids.

Dr Bartkiewicz is very good. I try to keep appointments to under 60 seconds, which I think he appreciates....
