Mildmay Medical Practice

I have been registered with this practice for the past 3 years and have never had any issues with either the reception staff or the doctors. I've had to use its services regularly of late and have been incredibly impressed with how the team of doctors have jumped to my aid with knowledge, care, the ability to listen and reassure. I've had prompt referrals to specialists, follow up calls and continued support with my health. I find it hard to believe the recent alleged 'bad service' of this surgery, thank you to the NHS doctors and staff at Mildmay for your hard work and care.

Absolutely the worst Doctors ever. Incompetent and unorganised reception staff. I had to register at this Doctors as I moved to the area from Holloway. Changing my doctors was the worst mistake ever. You can’t book an appointment for any time at all unless you call at 8 am in the morning. I registered my newborn baby online I waited nearly 4 weeks for the registration to go through only to be told that he wasn’t registered and I had to do an application in the practice. The receptionist that day could hardly speak English And I was a apologised to And was told she was a temp ( Not good enough). If you’re coming with your pram don’t even bother they don’t open the double doors they leave one tiny door open so your pram will deffo get stuck. You will never actually be seen on your appointment time so don’t arrive 10 minutes early arrive 10 minutes late… Staff are unwelcoming And will ask you straight away where is your mask even though you don’t have to wear a mask indoors anymore … This is Doctors is awful don’t bother… save yourself and look for another one

Terrible practice, can never get an appointment. Reception seem annoyed if you ask any questions. Horrible people. Better off going to Statham grove surgery which is only about a 10 min walk away from this place.

Unfriendly and incompetent. You're not a patient, you're a number. Reception staff is utterly unfriendly and unhelpful. I am appalled by this surgery. Why would you work in this field if you cannot deal with people in a respectful manner. I've been with Mildmay 15 years, every time I had to see a doctor it was a new one. They never stay long. Revolving door of people who don't care. Shocking! I wish I can leave a more respectful, kind review, but I'm unable to do so. Again, your front desk staff don't care about people! Its not a case of can't help, you're just unwilling to help. The google reviews speak for themselves. How the front desk staff still remain in employment... In any normal business, you'd be sacked! The mind boggles.. I'm mortified.

This is my local GP and although I've used it just a few times I have always been very impressed with the staff. The doctors that I've had have gone way above and beyond what I could have been expected. One called me on Christmas Eve last year at about 6pm to give me some result of a test I'd taken a few days earlier - just incredible service. My wife has gone there as well and has seen different staff and shes also been very impressed.

It’s unfortunate that this practice is brought down by its reception team. All doctors here are really great and nurses. I hope they can realise that having extremely unfriendly unhelpful and frankly rude reception staff is clearly turning everyone off this practice! Change up your front of house team as they’re the face of the practice, and it seems all issues will be solved.. I have come back to reduce this to ONE STAR having just been hung up on by the reception team. I honestly cannot say I’ve dealt with any worse front of house people!!!

I would give them 10 stars If I could. Have been with this surgery for over a year and I can say that their service is outstanding on many levels. Best GP practice I've been with from all my previous five GP clinics.

This place is awful. Recently moved into the area and transferred to this practice.

I have had no positive interactions with them at all. This place needs a serious overhaul in management/administration. The process of transferring over was awful. Had to call several times to get this done, emailed my documents through multiple times. The reception staff always seem stressed and bogged down by admin.

It also seems like you need to sell your first born child to get an appointment. I am so glad that I have access to a private GP otherwise I would have really had issues relying on this place.

After calling repeatedly, managed to get a blood test, no one even bothered to call back to discuss results, or organise a follow-up treatment plan.

I hope the management of the clinic read this review and make these obviously much needed changes, as it seems like there are several negative reviews. Something obviously needs to change.
