Doctors are very good and professional. The area itself is lovely and clean, however there are many downs to this centre...You can be first in the queue to call for any questions or appointments and nobody picks up for 15-30mins. It's ridiculous. Also, when booking an appointment in advance, you're asked to call the next morning and when I do, there's no space? (every time) How does that make sense?
Some of the staff at the desk are rude and have bad manners.

Very poor. I've only been registered here a few weeks as I'm new to the area:

1 The first time I phoned I was "first in the queue" for about 30 minutes and I gave up. First waste of time.

2. On my first appointment, only two of my items that I need for my diabetes care were added to my repeat prescription (I did not find this out till I tried to order other essential items - see number 3 below). I was also told that I could not have a repeat prescription for my migraine tablets until I have a blood test (fair enough, but annoying as I've taken them for years now). I was told to book a nurses appointment for the blood test, but then when I turned up for the appointment the nurse told me she couldn't do blood tests and I'd have to go to the walk in centre, which is in the same building but was closed for the day - another waste of time - and I had to waste more time going back for the walk in blood test.

3. I finally received my online access to order repeat medication (which was promised within a few days but took weeks (lucky I'm savvy enough to have overstocked on my medication before I moved from my old doctor), on the first time I went to use it I found that I could not order them as they were not on the list. I rang the reception to ask if they could be added and was told I would need yet another doctors appointment to get them - yet another waste of both my time and a GP's time.

I really like to give people the benefit of the doubt as I know the NHS is overstretched and people work hard, but this is just inefficiency, red tape and incompetence.

I wish I had registered at another practise.

PS - the reception staff also talk over you on the phone. Bad manners.

Looks nice and is local to me so I joined. Now I need to see a doctor, they cannot see me for a month?! I have been told to call at 8am for an appointment the same day. Took the morning off work, call really early only to be told there are no more appointments.

Firstly I am suffering and need to see my doctor now, not in a months time. Secondly, I cannot afford to keep taking mornings off work to try and make an appointment only to fail.

They need a new system as this is not working.

Terrible: 2 weeks and they still haven't processed my registration so I can't get an appointment. 10-15 minute wait just to get through on the phone then they hang up on me after putting me on hold. Also calling at non-peak times and having these long waits. I manage a practice and will be reporting them to the CQC as this kind of service is unacceptable

A nightmare to get urgent appointments I had to fight for it the 3x my under 6months old was poorly.
The Drs are ok the staff is nice the medical nurses are odd (she was telling me on my check up I don't want an other child within 3 years, as I need time with my baby... :-O despite this the guy is really nice and sweet with kids )
If you could I wouldn't use them.

I'm at the end of my tether with this surgery. 4 times I've had medication I need to actually stay alive withheld as they required up-to-date blood tests and yet I only ever find this out when I go to pick up my prescription... and twice it's because they 'never received the results' and so I keep having to have my bloods done over and over again. It's also never the same GP so I'm always having to explain my debilitating condition over and over again and essentially now self-prescribe because I know my condition better than them. Just now received a call telling me to come in and do my bloods again, despite doing them last week, because a doctor I have had zero interaction with says a certain count is too low, despite having seen one doctor after the blood tests who said it was fine despite being a little low on same count (which we both knew was to be expected!). Ridiculous and wasteful of patients' time. In addition, appointments are always running late. On the plus side, doctors are generally friendly as are the staff (except one who is down-right rude), however I don't think the general administration is well done, mistakes are made and nothing ever changes. I'm ready to go elsewhere.

I visited the hospital in the morning. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. She even helped me a few minutes before they were technically open. I was seen by a lovely lady for an ultrasound. She was very friendly and had a great bedside manner. One of the best medical experiences I have had in the UK

Everyone was really friendly from the minute I walked through the door (and prior on the phone as I was stuck in traffic and running late). Really COVID safe, with gel, fresh gloves and masks. Incredibly reassuring. I thought this was a wonderful touch at keeping everyone entering the building and working there, really safe. The radiographer doing my scan was really lovely, friendly, efficient, helpful, couldn't have asked for a better experience. I hope it's the same if I have to go back. Well done and thank you to everyone involved, I'm so grateful.
I think some of the more negative reviews are for the General Practice/GP's/Medical Practice and not Kingston Hospital Outpatients.
