I spent 1h 30mins holding on the phone today to check on a prescription that was due to be administered last week. I was still the same place in the queue all that time. I ended up visiting the surgery to find they did not have anyone to take calls but still allowed patients to wait on the phone in hope someone was going to answer.

This is the 5th time in the last couple of weeks where I’ve waited for more than one hour on the phone to get through to someone.

Receptionists I’ve spoken to have no to very little empathy.

If the surgery is unable to cope with current demand, wouldn’t it be normal to stop accepting new patients?

This surgery used to be great but they’ve really dropped.

Ownership of the issues need to be addressed and a vast improvement in service.

Been with this Doctor surgery for 25 year's and honestly never had a problem. Booked appointment at 8am and hear back within a few hour's, yes I totally agree that some of receptionists can sound a bit snappy, but let's face it that in last couple of year's they have had to go through a lot of changes like all of us.

My husband at this surgery over 30 years means nothing.I was concerned about a wound which was not healing. At first I had a gp concerned then when I rang up to voice my concerns about the district nurses not turning up. The new Practice manager who been there a few months used the word "demand" and said to ask district nurses to leave dressings or ask them to show how to do dressing. I am not clinically trained so how would I know about infections ? Messages not passed on . So in a nutshell don't ring up the surgery . I have a severely disabled husband who's mobility is poor . I left this surgery and went to Orchard Surgery nothing is too much trouble .

Feeling quite disgusted by Dr Lalani appointment today it’s such a shame as someone who suffers from anxiety I’m appalled that she didn’t bother to do a proper examination on me when I told her I had a lump in my back. She looked at one lump and not the others and mentioned it could be a lipoma ? Also quite hurt when I saw her on Friday 7th October she mentioned that she hadn’t received my chest x-rays and when I visited Ashford hospital that same day it said it had been sent and received by Stanwell Road Surgery. It’s such a shame because we got off on to a good start unfortunately her condescending attitude does not resonate well with me. I would rather be told the truth then be fobbed off or at least be told a diagnosis with a proper explanation rather than be told rub such gel on you and come back next month. Honestly I feel quite tearful and sick writing this review but unfortunately it’s the only way to get through to staff.

I can't thank the Stanwell team enough but specifically Dr Bhatia. He went above & beyond to ensure my son get seen & get the medicine he needed. I can only humbly thx u. I know it's a nightmare with current situation but when ur the one desperately seeking medical help for your child u rely on such professionals to not pass the buck...

Really rude, awful reception staff behaviour. They couldn’t care less and are so insensitive. Tried to book an appointment with the nurse multiple times first they told me we do not have any nurse then they said we don’t provide this vaccination. Which I know isn’t true as all gp surgeries provide it. They mislead you because they couldn’t be bothered. They are so unprofessional and have terrible attitude.

This is a GP surgery that does it’s best to serve the local community. Dedicated doctors that work long unsociable hours. Dedicated admin and reception staff. They do the best they can with the resources they have.
