This is not my surgery ,but the 3 times I have been in here with my Aunt the staff have been great every time ,and one lady in particular Kimberley ,was the most helpful ,caring ,and professional member of staff iv met ..2 other female members of staff were also very helpful .
But I do understand sometimes you do get a not so good member of staff ,but I did witness one customer /patient being very unreasonable towards one receptionist,I actually nearly stepped in to tell him ,but refrained as things did calm down eventually

I was given an emergency phone appointment today via 111. Due to symptoms to do with my ears, nose and jaw. I was called at 2.30 by a Doctor who seemed way to busy to speak to me.

The female Doctor in question, was rushing me and not letting me get my words out, regarding my symptoms and problems. Within 20-30 seconds of being on the call she offered me antibiotics, without knowing the extent of my symptoms or all of them.

I stayed as calm as possible and still persisted to try and get my points across to her. All the while she was rushing me and not letting me finish.

I completely understand it’s a hard time at the moment and there are a lot of people/patients to attend to. This is no excuse in my mind, as it was a referral from 111, who obviously deemed my problem serious enough to even refer me in such short notice.

The doctor I spoke to seemed to give up with me and hung up the phone, after approximately a minute or so. I’m left furious and very upset.

I’m sure there are people with much more serious needs and problems than me. This is the reason I’m writing this review to ensure that things like this don’t happen to others, we are so reliant on our health care staff especially doctors to, provide help and health care we need. I have the upmost respect for everyone strong enough to take on a roll within the health care sector.

This particular Doctor and those like her really do make it hard to continue with such confidence, especially when it comes to reporting and seeking help.

As being offered antibiotics before having any real knowledge of the suffering one is dealing with can be dangerous, I know this with no degree within nursing or health care!

I hope this review is taken seriously and no one else has to deal with the same issues I have myself, thank you for taking the time to understand and read my review.

Absolutely awful surgery. No one answers the phone, doctors are always late for appointments and when you do speak to them they can’t wait to get you off the phone quick enough. No duty of care to their patients and not one ounce of customer service. I will be changing surgeries asap

2 weeks ago ,my sister fell out of bed,when i went to see her i called the doctor ,he came out and said no brusies and nothing wrong ,and gave her pain killers just in case ,by the monday she could not move her back and legs were numb ,so called a ambulance ,after 2 xrays and a scan ,they revelled she had fractered ribs and pelvis and broken ribs ,dr mac had missed diagnosed and she now is home and still in a lot of pain

Clinic made and cancelled appointment within a couple of hours over some lame IT issue, doctors thought it was important enough to book ASAP, have no confidence in booking another appointment

Am so fed up with this surgery. Wait weeks for a call which comes late, will not see you just push you onto the hospital to deal with it. Lots if back office staff, but no patients seem to be there to actually see a GP. Not interested in more than one issue either. Total waste of my time again.

Less than 1 Starr. Takes ages to get through to reception. No indication as to where you are or if you are in a queue. Was on redial continuously for 45mins but still didn't answer. Never any appointments. And they have the cheek to put on their website that they are accepting new NHS patients!!!!!!

Wish I could leave less than one star, has to be the WORST surgery in the area. Cannot ever get through to reception no matter what time you call, if you call at 8am it’ll take you an hour and a half to get through just to be told no appointments call back tomorrow at 8am. Staff are soooooo rude and just want to get you off the phone, only possible way you can get an appointment is to scream and shout about it. Doctors are useless.
