I didn’t have to see the doctor yet, but the ladies are lovely in the practice, including the receptionists and nurses. But more importantly, since we moved here they enrolled us to weight management apps and even the gym! They motivate us to live healthy, which is something no other surgery did before.
I don’t understand these negative reviews! I think satisfied people do not write any reviews, only those hurt by something do out of revenge. Let’s get the record straight: Crescent nurses and reception are caring people who go out of their way to help their patients. I highly recommend this surgery. I’ll probably write another review a year later, as I’ve only been with them for four months, but I’m really surprised a surgery can motivate someone to live healthily to the extent they do.

Sidu is ruthless butcher, his medical knowledge is limited to pain killers and whenever you say I am still in pain he gave stronger and higher dosage, he refuse the transfer your critical and potentially life threatening case unless you keep insiting and he keeps saying you can go to a private specialist, well NO the NHS is paying you because I am registered at your practice. The practice manager is always not their, the old short hair receptionist is rude and unprofessional she put the phone down while patient is talking and start fidgeting I saw her when I was at the practice, a women called Rosey is vulgar and better suited as jail security. If you care about your health go anywhere else away from those unhumans.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. They are doing the followup even if we miss the appointment. Sending the prescriptions on time and guiding the procedures clearly in emergency and very helpful.

I needed to speak to the doctor about a serious health issue and the doctor was so unprofessional. He wasn’t even listening to what I was saying and at some point he suggested me multivitamins. I could understand from his voice that he was bored and didn’t want to do his job at all. The worst practice I have ever been. It was only the receptionist that was trying to understand my situation and helped me out at the end. Do not go there especially if you have something serious, he shouldn’t be called a doctor.

I'd avoid at all costs. The reseptionist takes the role of gate keeper to a whole new level. She either dislikes her job or simply looks down on everyone. I've phoned and asked for an appointment, she told me there was none, I mentioned a lump, there was an appointment. They don't want to deal with people, they want you to have a phone appointment so they can cut you off as soon as possible. These doctors have got the payroll they studied for and that's it. They act like they have no time to listen, act like they're busy but if you go in, nobody is ever there. Someone came in saying their dad really isn't well, 111 didn't help and they won't be able to leave the house to go to the hospital, the reseptionist told them to phone the next day for a phone appointment... What??? What happened to doctors checking for symptoms rather than assuming people can determine their own symptoms.

I never thought a place of healthcare could treat SICK PEOPLE in such a disregarding way. Honestly, ringing this place for help is as useful as ringing a Chinese and asking for fish and chips.

Ps. The doctor didn't even feel to see if he could find a lump.. Like, what?? It should be closed down in my opinion.

Unethical attitude
I signed up with this practice since I needed to see a doctor as I recently experienced recurrent chest pain. I went through the signing up process and I arranged an appointment with Dr Balraj Sidhu.
I was appalled by the arrogant and dismissive attitude of Dr Sidhu during the 5 minutes he spent with me to understand the issue.
Dr Sidhu mentioned a charge of £20 for a referral to a specialist and the moment I challenged him on the scope of the fee, he firstly said it's for the cost of printing the referral letter and then he stormed out of the room saying that he does not have time for complaints and if I don't want the referral that is fine.
Apparently writing a referral letter towards a private specialist is more effort and it has to be charged, although it is free if the same referral letter would be towards an NHS specialist.
I was left in shock and in the moment, I felt absolute distrust in the national health system. I am an honest taxpayer and rarely make use of the privileges of the NHS. The reason I am leaving this review is to raise awareness to other people who would like to sign up with this practice.

Just had a blood test taken and explained to the nurse that the dermatologist booked it due to my recent diagnosis for androgenetic alopecia. The nurse was so, so lovely. She gave me some tips on hair loss and also said some very kind words which really helped me to feel better about my hair loss. She was so caring. I’m sad I didn’t get her name. But thank you :)

The staff are all friendly apart from one receptionist who is younger than the other lovely receptionists. She,is quite blunt and looks really miserable so that makes you feel even worse, she had longish dark hair..I love the nurses they are so friendly and and understanding
The only thing I am a little concerned is,most of the time you can't see the doctors you have a telephone conversation,I think if you have skin problems you can't really do it over the phone the doctors need to see it,but overall I am very happy with them, especially when you re order perscription s they are very quick sending them to my local chemist
