Broomwood Health Centre

Poor service, very technical in their response and not enough quality care. My son is 4 years old and needs urgent referral after a serious anaphylactic shock during our holiday abroad, but the surgery were not willing to help and would rather wait till the weekend to process the referral. Used to be better but now they are mean and with no heart for their patients.

Broomwood Rd surgery has lost its way. we have been with it for over 50 years and it has never been worse than it is now. Early day closing on a Thursday (something the shops stopped in the 60s) with an emergency doctor on call who never returns your call - even if you are in severe pain. They don't seem able to keep doctors for any length of time. The staff are good at their rules and regulations but when it comes to real care they are nowhere to be found. They don't even have any disabled car parking. It surely is time for a management shake up! Would not recommend this surgery to my enemies let alone my friends at this time.

I’d give this place NIL POINTS if I could!! Unhelpful, unprofessional attitude and the one GP who was good, has left now! Tried in Nov/Dec for SEVEN WEEKS to get an appointment with no luck!! Eventually got a call from their pharmacist on 31 December!! They need to sort themselves out& HELP the patients

Had couple problems with this doctor’s first was I got to wait a month to see a doctor to then be given tablets to last a month an told to come back but then told by receptionist they can’t book another appointment for 2 weeks so that I would have to wait 6 weeks to see a doctor so couldn’t take the tablets and now I been in pain for the last 3 nights phoned them up they told me they are not making any appointments and to go on there website to try talk to doctor so done that and it then tells me to ring doctors 😡😡 place is a joke would not recommend there services to anyone

Worst receptionists ever, rude, not helpful, docs dont listen.. actaully hate the place

Absolutely useless after a phone call from a g.p they books physio for me but they sent referral to the wrong team that team kindly forward the referral to the correct team then referral was rejected because g.p didn't fill out referral correctly, so 3 weeks later I am back to square 1, and I am told oh well everyone can make a mistake, we will get secretary to resend it. Next time I have a fall I will get taken to a&e and get them to do a referral, and even now months later you still can't get past the receptionist even though other health professionals have set up precedures

I have been a patient for almost 50 years but ive had enough im moving drs the care for patients has gone its a long story but you cant get through on the phone you have to econsult wait 48 hours then if lucky get an appointment within 2 weeks i went centre today but receptionist booked me a health care assistant not a dr when i took my blood pressure readings in as requested by dr . She was opologetic but said i needed to book an appointment i laughed anyway i went to reception 17 jan the earliest , high blood pressure , recent blackout , previous tia sorry they dont care

Has gone way downhill. I need a prostate check and amazingly this was done today by phone. Forget the finger up the bum they have incredibly found a way of performing a prostate examination over the phone. I am in awe as to how this miracle of medical science works. Perhaps they use rune stones or Tarot cards, having said that I haven’t seen Mystic Meg from the lottery show for many years, maybe they have taken her on.
