The staff here are absolutely wonderful. I've had days where I've been able to call multiple times the same day for different children and both tines got through promptly. Always recieved care that is excellent with special attention given to my youngest child. Receptionists and doctors 10/10. Thank you.

Poor service, used Covid as an excuse to provide a service which is not acceptable or people focused.
The world is returning back to normal yet the Dr's hide behind covid to triage people over the phone which does not work.
Previously had to try three different prescriptions as was skin condition was incorrectly diagnosed by photos, and all 3 times didn't see a Dr.
Today I tried to call inrelation to another issue. The receptionist was blunt, was on hold for 35mins and then the phone went dead.
Will be moving GPs ASAP and could not recommend this service to anyone. Just upset I have to try and contact them again in the meantime.
I pity anyone who is seriously ill and has to use this Dr's

Shame I can’t give half a star they are Very rude I have been at this surgery for years and now I have changed my doctors to one closer to me and while I am waiting for my doctors notes to be transferred over I am still eligible to use this surgery so I called them up today as I have bad sciatica and I have ran out of pain relief I was put on hold for a while then when I got intouch with a doctor I explained my situation about moving to another surgery and he was very rude and arrogant towards me he also said to me he has other patients even though lol was only on the phone to him for less than 5 minutes next minute he hangs up the phone so still have no pain relief and no advice from him i then call back to make a complaint manager calls me back and every time I mention the situation it was like they wasn’t interested absolutely fuming about this whole situation

I have been at this practice for some time now and I would like to thank Dr Haleema Sultan for all her help with the Nutrition & Dietetics referral to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

I would like to also thank you Dr Teresa Collum for all her help and support relating to my kidneys. All doctors I have come into contact with via telephone have been so supportive and helpful because I know I can be an anxious patient about my health (physically & current).

I would also like to thank you Dr Roopashree Bhat at St Heliers Medical Practice for all her help and support regarding my Scoliosis of the Spine. Thank you 😊 Dr Roopashree Bhat for doing the Physiotherapy referral to Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham.

Every member of staff I have spoken or came into contact with have been so helpful and supportive. Thank you nurse Yolanda for doing my blood test as you are a very reassuring person.

The whole practice team at St Heliers Medical Practice - Northfield Health Centre very helpful and supportive to any query that you may have.

I rang the practice at 9:45 on Monday. I spoke to the receptionist immediately who transferred me to clinical support. Within 10 minutes I was talking to a doctor who made an appointment for me to see a physiotherapist at the practice at 12:30 that day!!!

By 1:30 I was back home after a thorough examination, diagnosis, an online treatment plan and a refers, to The Orthopaedic Hospital.

What a fantastic Practice we have at St Heliers. Just brilliant.

Absolutely disgusting receptionist there mannerisms in which they address you!.. how you have to feel forced to explain your reason for call to be spoken to abruptly when your all ready feeling I'll and do really want to speak to anyone. Who are these receptionist to ask you for such personally information. I've been in the doctors and heard them talking laughing about patients after they leave. I feel like I don't want to ring them and request to speak to my doctor for medication, but also know I can't be without them. They are only receptionists nothing more. Digusting you wait 11 in line and by the time you get to speak to clinical you could be dead with the phone left in your hand also.

We registered with St Heliers in Oct 2022. Wow we are so pleased we did. Our experience includes super friendly staff, a customer friendly telephone system that works, but it’s when you need to call the practice that you appreciate how effective the system is. I called at 11am, I was transferred to a senior Doctor who listened and determined a face to face consultation was required. I was given an appointment for 3.20pm the same day. The Doctor listened, recommended up to date medication and together we agreed an action plan. Wow I am so impressed, happy staff, excellent systems, so patient friendly. Thank you.

Good luck ever getting to see a Dr or Nurse.
I have lived all over the UK and this is by far the worst GP practice I've ever had to use, before it merged it was ok, now it's atrocious. During Covid the GP sent a text saying they wouldn't see anybody unless it was cancer related. They regularly lose my repeat prescription requests and stop my prescription without telling me causing me withdrawal effects. GPs and Nurses when you see them are ok, but it's nearly impossible to get an appointment as phone lines are always jammed, you aren't allowed into reception without an appointment, and the online system doesn't work!
