I have never had any trouble getting an appointment .
If they are full they will do thier upmost to find an alternative appointment for you.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful especially Sandy ! She goes way and beyond to help the patients.
I would highly recommend this Surgery.
This is the most negative comment I have to ever write...
My wife is pregnant in 34th week and we have received the worst care that I could expect...
Where should I start from:
We had to do some tests and we were prescribed antibiotics multiple times during the pregnancy. (nothing wrong with that) After the last antibiotic she took at 33 week we went to leave a sample and ask what to do next. Without having any sample results she was asked to get another set of antibiotics... imagine you are in 33 weeks and you are asked to get more antibiotics without having a paper showing that there is something wrong with you. We still went to the pharmacy of their choice ( twice ) which was closed permanently ... thank you for wasting 40 mins of our time going to a pharmacy that is no longer working. I wish they understand how hard is for a pregnant lady to move around during covid times and to go 3 times to pharmacy and 2 times to GP for the same thing... then we went to another pharmacy and the lady on the counter was shocked that there is prescription in 33 week without any actual results... we got the antibiotic and agreed not to take it until results are ready in the next 1 or 2 days...guess what... my wife kept calling them everyday and the results were not ready... today after 8 days it seems that they have lost or messed up with the sample and they are asking her for a new sample.. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE for a pregnant lady to go through this stress... the lady at the pharmacy counter was also like.."do you pay for everything, don`t you have a pregnancy exemption card" and we were like "no... our GP never told us anything like that even exists"... anyway long story short... avoid at any cost... as the experience we are still going through is stressful and I can`t agree that I should not be able to receive basic care that we are all eligible for... As a pregnant lady in 34 weeks I would expect my wife to get at least a little bit of priority where someone different from reception can stand up and resolve this drama...
Expect to be re directed to 111 who then have to direct you to the local A&E for a GP service because of no appts slots and a reluctance to physically see anyone. Reception staff are lovely but should not be triaging medical conditions.
