Last night I was unwell with suspected appendicitis. 111 were rang and rang me back 8 hours later. They then booked me a drs appt even though my pain had subsided. The dr was very rude, when I explained what happened the previous night, he asked “so why are you here if the pains stopped?” In a very rude way. I felt like replying because the drs aren’t open at night 🤣😭. Countless awful experiences with this surgery.

Amazing service, I submitted an online form for triage the night before, they called me at 8.50 and asked me in for a 9.20 appointment, I was done and dusted by 9.35 and in that time I managed to register my name change. Receptionists were really helpful and efficient and Dr Powell is absolutely fantastic, I'd highly recommend her and the surgery.

The worst receptionist I have ever had to speak to. The unwillingness is help was deplorable. Surely in a customer facing role you should have the ability to not just resort to a “computer says no mentality”. The service that I had from my previous surgery in knightwick was fabulous and I would never have been left without medication while pregnant. The receptionists here need to understand that their job in to speak to the general public, who they are no better than. They also need to learn to simply listen.

This has got to be the worst doctors in Worcester.
Was sent a appointment I got there and they sent out the wrong text it was for a phone consultation so they cancelled the appointment and the consultation was re scheduled because I was in the surgery at the time the phone consultation was due and told to go home and wait for another call no call was ever made to me and no medical treatment ever received.
Well done no care what so ever 👍

I have had an excellent experience. Completed the patient triage form, had a call, visited the doctor and the reception staff were lovely! Really friendly and helpful. Great service and had my faith restored on the NHS

Doctors are great if you can actually get to see one. The ‘call centre’ staff are rude and thoroughly unhelpful. I believe they’re not the people on the physical reception desk but rather dedicated phone answering staff. They absolutely refused to give me the appointment the doctor I saw told me I needed. Sadly I think the triaging power they had during lockdown has lead them to believe that they are far more important/qualified than their jobs dictate. They are now nothing more than obstructive, and completely unable able to realise that they’re in a public service role, and their salary is paid by the people they are meant to be ‘serving’. I’m going to take the names of those treat patients (their wage payers) badly - in hope that the HR dept at St John’s will address the problems that their patients are suffering. Today’s exceptional unhelpful staff member was Grace - I am happy to discuss our interaction with HR at any point, and can only hope they will review our phone conversation which is presumably recorded.

If I could give no starts I would. Tried to use the online appointment booking system to be told that it wouldn't work and that I would have to phone up and speak to someone. So I did, and I have just spent 45 minutes on the phone to book an appointment and was told by a rude receptionist that there were no appointments at all and that I would have to turn up in person to the surgery next week at 8am to book an appointment.

All staff especially reception are approachable and friendly, they have always gone above and beyond despite very difficult times and can’t fault the practice.
