Angmering Medical Centre

I have been a patient of the Angmering Medical Centre for very many years. The receptionists, healthcare assistants, nurses and doctors have taken very good care of me throughout that time and I have nothing but praise for the professional and sympathic way they perform their duties. Clearly from time to time there are occasions when the sheer pressure of work leads to delays in patients seeing the professional of their choice but that is life today in the NHS! I am posting this to say 'thank you' to everyone at AMC and The Coppice for all their support and encouragement.

I have been trying to get an appointment with my dr since May were now in Oct still a 3 month wait. Also I was discusted to be told I cant get my flu jab until middle of Nov this is appauling I have asthma and copd.

Kate and her (quote) "colleague of 15 years" have never heard of large print new patient forms for the visually impaired. She didn't want to follow up or ask around for my request for a large print new patient form from 5 days ago as she had no way of tracking it as the patient is not on the system. Simply told me to call back on a different number on Tuesday of the following week to speak to a practice manager. Very un-helpul and very rude.

On going ear problem, phoned this morning at 9, told to come down at 9.3o to see Nurse Practitioner Anisa Parish, what a lovely friendly person, checked me out, gave me a prescription and sorted. Thank you Anisa.

Lovely receptionist called Claire, most helpful thank you.

Unfortunatly im not happy with this surgery. After being misdiagnosed and given blood thinners without a scan. Which has caused much agony And appointment to now see a surgeon iml refused sleeping tablets ive never felt so uncared for in my life
