Messina Clinic

Unfortunately, I don’t have the best experience of the clinic. The reception is the only good experience.

The first consultation with Dr Flavio Messina was ok. He prescribed me medication that I could have found on the pharmacy shelves. That’s not a problem if it works, but it didn’t. There was no recommendation for a further investigation if the problem persisted.

A blood test was suggested. The nurse needed three attempts. It was not comfortable.

When I came back to know the result of my blood test I had to waiting more than 30 min. The receptionist had to remind Dr Flavio Messina twice that I was waiting for him and he still made jokes with another patient. He was not prepared for my consultation either. This is not what you expect when you are a paying customer and have paid everything in advance.

Friendly is good, but over friendly starts to feel a bit uncomfortable.

I needed a simple covid test for re-entry into the states. I was nervous perhaps irrationally so, that the covid email would be lost etc. But no worries, their 24hr turn around time at least for me, was 9hrs, and I could sleep tight knowing my covid free status was in hand.

Very well located; friendly staff and efficient doctors… Had my blood taken without having a thousand holes in my arms… 😉☺️

Dr Caroline is very professional and knowledgeable. Her holistic approach is a plus and makes the difference when investigating the cause of the symptoms, treatment options and outcomes. I am feeling much better now and I recommend her as a doctor.
