Broom Leys Surgery

Everyone here is very helpful and sort issues as quickly as easily as possible. Have received exemplary care from this practice in the last year or so , way beyond anything I could have expected. Access has been fairly easy and if you need to be seen or spoken with then that happens very promptly. The whole team work really hard and are always really pleasant.

My experience within the practice has in the main been very positive. Recently I experienced an appointment issue which I was able to discussed with both administrative and nursing managers and which were resolved politely and immediately-thank you very much Karen and Emma.

Never had issues with this practice. All the receptionists who are basically the front of any doctors surgery have been incredible. Always really helpful. Always really polite. Doctors/pharmcists/nurses/midwives have been amazing too. Can't fault them

I just wanted to say a huge THANKYOU to all the staff at Broom Leys for the exceptional care I have received over the last couple of years but particularly within the last few months and weeks.
Firstly to the reception staff, especially Ellie, Abbie and Ally (as I speak to you often!), thankyou for always being lovely on the phone and for all your help. Also, a massive thankyou to Karen, the Nurse Manager for her care and compassion over the last few weeks at a time that was particularly difficult for me. Nothing was too much trouble and this meant a lot. Although I have named certain people here, all the staff are wonderful and thankyou all for the job you do daily. I really appreciate all that you do and I can't praise this practice enough.

Everyone is always quick to moan but thought I’d leave my experience here.

I’ve been going to this surgery for 5ish months now and I can honestly not fault it. Had an unlucky run of little things health wise so been there quite often.

Reception team, doctors, physio, nurses etc are all great. It runs like clockwork from my experience! Feel fortunate to have a doctors surgery that I can rely on so close to home!

This practice and the pharmacy are awful. I have had two experiences here and moving back to my old practice. First I was sent to the pharmacy (also awful) by a doctor for a prescription that did not exist, pharmacist gave me an old prescription that I told her I couldn’t have any more of whilst we were chatting and was very rude when I came to give it back. Second I needed a re prescription of my contraceptive pill, the nurse made it compulsory for me to come in to measure my weight wrong and the prescription to be late making me miss my pill for a couple of days. You’re better off going to Long Lane Surgery down the road.

Thank you for responding Kathy.I cancelled that booking two weeks in advance due to work commitments and phoned in to confirm my re-booking after I received a text to say that I did not attend when that appointment was supposed to be cancelled. I spoke to the nurse who assured me that the medication would be available the next day or the day after and I came the day after to allow more time for delivery. I have had some bad experiences with GP practices but never so consistently bad and it seems management are not willing to improve the service either.

Reception staff are very helpful and all the doctors, nurses and midwives we've been seeing in the past 3 years have been fantastic.

Feel safe in a clean comfortable environment. Appointment time kept. Dr Scrivens gave me time and treated me with respect while explaining my treatment plan.
