I have been registered in this practice for over 9 years. My experience is generally positive.
The front line staff are knowledgeable, polite and helpful.
It is not their fault there are not always enough resources in NHS to arrange appointments quickly.
Recently I needed an urgent appointment and it was very satisfactory experience. My follow up appointment was on time as well and felt I was looked after well.

Great doctors, shame about the unhelpful receptionists. As long as you don’t mind waiting up to a month to get in, then this is the Surgery for you

The worst, the admin team and the reception ladies are rude. If you don't like your job, LEAVE!!! Instead of projecting such bad behaviour on us patients!

I'm still shocked & a bit shaken from my experience speaking to the receptionist Jo on the phone today. I really hope the surgery read this review and my call with them was recorded & they review it because this surgery proved today they ignore people with accessibility/reading issues and make up lies to get them off the phone so they don't have to deal with them. It's quite upsetting, I asked Jo to read to me what the "catchment" policy was she kept saying to me & why I couldn't join this surgery because I genuinely didn't understand it. Jo told me to look online I explained I don't have a computer, she then told me to look on my 'smart phone' which again I explained I personally don't have access to. I explained I had accessibility issues & would appreciate if she read the catchment policy so I could listen & understand it at least. Jo refused & said she had a line of people infront of her & I mentioned I would then have to raise a complaint because she was being insensitive to my accessibility needs. Jo then said to another colleague whilst I was on the phone that I complained she was being 'rude' which was a lie I never sai that. Jo then told me she had been told she needed to end the call. I can't even complain to this surgery directly and give them a chance to address it because they don't have a complaints policy or practice manager info on their website and they wanted to terminate my call when I said I wanted to complain so I can't complain on the phone either. I've got no choice but to raise a complaint with NHS England. Such a shame this could have been resolved so easily if they just understand and cater to accessibility requirements.

Really poor service. My wife called to ask if I could be registered as a carer and was totally fobbed off and given incorrect information by the staff working here. Then I was sent a text to ask me to provide proof without even explaining what the proof I needed to provide actually was! Really need to improve receptionists' telephone manner and knowledge of information they are providing. She had another poor experience when booking a vaccination for our son too.

I have been suffering with a long term back pain and this surgery has been nothing but exemplary, from reception to GP. Dr.Chandran especially is very thorough, regardless of my many calls in regards to my back, he has always been brilliant and understanding but also firm, personally this method has stopped me from becoming an "Over thinker". Thank you!
