The worst service I have in London. I’ve been the first of the queue twice and the phone was picked up nearly four hours later. It was the crisis line asking me to call and book for an appointment since they referred my condition to the surgery and believe I need an urgent appointment. But they don’t accept appointment for today or further dates in advance. I cannot see how am I suppose to get an URGENT appointment from them.

UPDATE:
Shazna, who works in admin at the surgery, called me and helped me resolved the issue. She was understanding and keen to get to the bottom of what happened. I was able to get an appointment and explained to her I was just frustrated at the time of writing my previous review, but I am generally very happy with the surgery. Thanks Shazna for your help and understanding and thanks to all the doctors and receptionists for the work they do 😊

Told to call at 8am for appointment but says “due to high call volumes we can’t accept your call” and hangs up on me. So I try again later to be told there’s no appointments. How am I supposed to get an appointment?

My earlier review has somehow been deleted. Cant believe some sort of governing body like the watchdog hasn't closed this dreadful surgery with their even dreadful staff members down or come down on them heavily. Just this morning I tried calling them the line won't get through it would just cut off, then after ten minutes of trying I get through only to be told iam number 48 on the list. However I make it through
after 44mins only to be told there's noappointments left. The reception staff have no empathy nor sympathy when dealing with the clients. They are borderline heartless. There is a saying in our local community as backed up by statements of countless consultants who used to see my mother that this surgery's negligence directly had a hand in my mother's kidney function deterioration which led to her death which in essence means they have a direct hand in my mother's death and for that I will never forgive this cancerous surgery with a bunch of cancerous staff members who's behaviour is soo toxic its unreal. The only reason they still have the clientele is because its the only surgery in our community. Most of the positive reviews you see are iam sure from fake accounts because iv lived in this area for 30 years know 95% of their clientele and not a single one of them have a single good word to say about them. The sooner this place closes down or get new owners, management and front house staff members the better it will be for our community. I will be taking my daughters out of this dreadful place.

Absolutely terrible service,I'm with this gp nearly 3 years,since I have a baby they always doing a problems, my baby have really bad egzma since he was born, every month I was calling for his reapid prescription and last wendesday all of the sudden lady on the phone saying to me ,,sorry we have never be able to order prescription over the phone" I said to her that I have ordered every month creams for my baby and she said that is not possible and she can't explain whay...Then I said fine my partner will come there after work to your reception and ask Face to face for the baby prescription ,and when he show up in the afternoon the lady said OK your prescription is ordered will be ready on Friday in your pharmacy. I went to the pharmacy on Friday and they saying sorry we didn't receive anything from your doctor 😡then again my partner went there on Friday and ask what's happened on the reception, they said they don't know and that the lady on wendesay should told him that the baby need review about his egzma. We said she never give any info about that and that we had just review month ago.they said sorry that is past now need another one...absolutely terrible service we ask who's fault is that and to speak to menagerie becouse my baby is without medications week now,they said you need to call again on Monday, so today I have to spend another 2 hours waiitng on the phone before someone will finally answer becouse they really bad at that as well. And on the top of that them baby review is over the phone becouse they don't have time to see the baby anyway, so what is the point to delay and not help 18 months old what can end up in the hospital again becouse of them incopetive staff.

The surgery team have been supportive whenever I need it. I’ve never liked the 8am
lottery to see my GP. I’d love to be able to book future appointments via the DrIQ app and have video calls.

My baby’s 12 week appointment got cancelled on the day, very annoying to wake up to such a message after having app confirmed for over a month! however after an hour wait on the phone, receptionist Shazna answered - super lovely and helpful got new appointment for the same day. Thank you! 0 starts for the hospital, 5 for the lady!

The worst service ever(if you ever can get app).
I had a fall at work last Thursday and hurt my knee.Second week I’m not able to go to work and for whole week I am calling sharp 8 o’clock with request for sick note which I have to present to my employer, after waiting 50 min only to hear : no appointments, call back tomorrow.
This is unacceptable as I don’t need to even see Gp but just “not fit to work note .
Not to mention I have not seen face to face Gp in the last 3 years.Everytime I have some health issues, I need to call 111 or go directly in Newham Hospital as this surgery is simply USELESS.

Today I called at 8am sharpe and waited for 37 mins for some one to answer the phone and one again tell me they can’t see me today no appointments available! I was told to call back tomorrow at 8am!

2 days in a row I have been told to call back at 8am!
Surly an asthmatic with a chest infection gets some priority!

I was told I might get a cancellation appointment! This makes me wait by my phone all day waiting for a call the never arrives

Otherwise told to go A&E (on a day of walk out from nhs nurses) shocking

Shocking service and I will be sure to transfer clinics once I get seen after yet another disappointment from Albert road surgery
