The nurses here are lovely. Can't fault them. I then had to see a doctor about the menopause and got given an information booklet and follow up telephone call. At a moment in life when you really need help to understand your options I was told your 15 minutes are up, I have another patient. Perhaps the 15 minutes would have been enough if he had explained what I could do rather than... .this is what the NHS tell us to say route. Another example of women not getting the help they ask for.

Not at all helpful we have been with this practice over 30 years see or speak to a different doctor every time and they all give you different information what is one supposed to do it’s so frustrating no wonder the A&E are unable to to cope everyone are going up there because they can’t get to see a dr Not surprised they have now been put in special measures that surgery is a joke

I've been sick with a sinus issue for over a year and I've called the doctor countless times, being prescribed allergy medication which didn't help and four different types of antibiotics which haven't helped either. Calling them can take hours to be talked to, and I used to be able to call and book a telephone consultation any time they were open but suddenly now you can only make appointments between 8 and 10, and they gave me an in-person appointment instead. They made me feel stupid for not knowing that it had changed, and every time I do call the GP I feel like I am just going to be patronised and that my illness is going to be undermined or ignored. Some of the reception team is lovely but that doesn't even begin to make up for the appalling service of this GP.

Very disappointing, can't even get to talk to a human...phoned 17 times only get cut off after hearing the automated message.
there was a time you would be in a queue not anymore.
...just cut you off instead.waste of time

Very helpful, caring, friendly and understanding team from the receptionists at the front door to the clinical team on the back. Thank you for all your hard work.

I’ve been with Bacon Road for about 12/13 years. The receptionist are really helpful and kind, the doctors always have your prescription ready within a day, I’m usually always able to get an appointment within a couple of days too which can’t be said for other surgeries these days. Well done guys 👏

Very busy surgery but doctors and nurses take time to listen and have helped my physical and mental health problems especially when I lost my husband to cancer. All the staff are friendly and sympathetic. I am confident that they will do their best to sort out any issues for me when I contact them. Big thank you to all the staff.

Incredibly disappointed. I've been at this surgery for years now and visited for a number of reasons; for mental health I've hardly ever seen an actual doctor, always a trainee who then had to go and ask her boss about everything anyway and constantly refused me any treatment aside from referral upon referral to other services. I've been told to keep taking a medication that I've told the doctor causes me side effects, and told that I need to give longer to a medication that I repeatedly have said does not work for me from past experience. I don't like to give negative reviews generally and I've been avoiding it, but for anyone considering joining the surgery, fair warning. Maybe you'll recieve better service than me, but my experience is of not being listened to and being being offered improper treatment. Will be moving surgeries ASAP
