Been trying to use the Patch's portal which has been down for over a month, the telephone system at the surgery does not exist every option you choose says call between 10am and 6pm and the line cuts off, good luck anyone trying to get through urgently. Have no choice but to physically go into the surgery .... Herendous set up !!!! 0 stars is what I want to give not even half

My family and I have been with the surgery for over 30 years. We are disappointed with the lack of professionalism, empathy or basic customer service from reception staff. When the practice was taken over there were high hopes for things improving, however it has gotten worse and worse. You try to book an appointment on Patches, as suggested by the automated telephone system, however the surgery is not accepting appointments. You call and wait ok hold for over 30 minutes and once you get to caller one, the disconnect the call. It is all a shambles and despite all of the negative and poor reviews online nothing ever seems to improve.

I have been with this practice for 16 years and always found them helpful and kind. My mum was a patient there and they were lovely with her. Doctors, like everyone else, can't be 'experts' in everything and sometimes it takes time for a doctor to get to know you. The receptionists are always very helpful and I have seen them go out of their way to help someone.

Have decided to edit this review as, since the pandemic and the surgery becoming part of a hub, the service has gone down dramatically. Almost impossible to get through on the phone, unless you're ring at 8am for an appointment. Anything else - forget it. The receptionist have become rude and uncaring. It has taken them nearly 3 months to process a medical report, requested by the DVLA. Only when my local MP got involved did it get done. I have to say that the Practice Manager was incredibly helpful, when she found out about the problems I'd been having.

Very unprofessional, Brick lane surgery has really changed for the past 3 years now. I’ve been with the surgery for over 9 years and everything was absolutely fine but everything suddenly changed when they employed unprofessional receptionist who don’t even take their time to listen to the patients but are so much in haste to hang up the phone without offering any help to the patients. They’ll tell you the doctor will call you and you’ll wait for a week expecting the doctors call only to go back to the surgery and find out they’ve been calling a different telephone number I don’t even know where they got that from. Even after blood test you’ll have to chase them for your results and they wouldn’t even bother to let you know if there’s something that’s not right with your blood test results anymore. The new East Enfield medical practice in ponders end is really stinky and unhygienic place to be used as a Gp surgery. Really disappointed and looking for a new GP surgery

People complain about the reception not picking up the phone but the whole pandemic there was a website to arrange an appointment. I never had too many issues with calling there. I would say more that reception is always really nice and helpful. Doctors react really quickly, lovely people. They treat their job seriously.

I have been with Brick Lane surgery for 8 years now. Always been really happy with the service from reception to GP. The last year it's got worse and worse to the point where I would rather sit for 3 hours at the walk in center to actually see a doctor. It's all over the phone consultation and that's if you get in quick in the morning. That is if you can actually get through due to their ongoing technical issues. I'm so bloody frustrated with the surgery. Absolutely disgusting. Let's hope we see some improvement when the new site is up and running.

If I could give this surgery minus 5 star I would.
The receptionists are rude, dismissive and told my elderly relative to leave because he coughed (once!). They said he posed a covid risk and refused to see him to about his chest pains. Even when we called emergency services and were told to see the doctor immediately the receptionist refused to contact the supervising doctor and closed the window on us. Bunch of donkeys!
