Risedale Surgery

Very bad experience, missed blood results, went to appointment and GP wasnt there, no one had cancelled the appointment. Receptionists need further training and use a telephone voice, not give patients attitude! Stop discriminating again people with illness, if they need help to do something in writing help them, dont shout or be patronising towards them, dont embarrass them infront of alot of other patients! I witnessesd along with other patiences the above in the surgery and was discussed,you left a clearly vunerable person in tears as she clearly didnt understand why you were raising your voice to her, she was clearly distressed. Unforgivable behaviour! Bad practice. I helped the patient, me another patient doing your job!!

Tried to get a call from GP as an appointment was out of the question there never is any. Was told it would be next week with a random Go or November with my choice of GP who is monitoring my newly prescribed antidepressant medication. I explained my anxiety was really bad but no interest was shown at all no wonder mental health is as bad as it is

Service is very poor , , making for a very stressful experience , time and time again , communication between , reception and medical staff is virtually none ,, takes a week to get a prescription sent to Tesco ,, where Liverpool house , if u phone at 9am ,it’s normaly ready in Tesco to pick up with in a few hrs !!! Have to wait weeks for apps , then they cancelled cause the lass who booked them 2 weeks ago , ( yep it took 2 weeks ) don’t even have a clinic on that day she booked the app for !!!!!!

Absolute shambles. I’ve given 1 star as the reception staff and the medicine manager are very nice otherwise it would be no stars. I’ve had constant problems trying to organize ongoing medication for my elderly father as they don’t seem to follow any procedures regarding the patient access portal messages that they tell you to use. Also the practice manager doesn’t return your calls.

Sick of ringing the doctor's to seek medical attention for one reason or another, to be blocked by untrained & unqualified desk staff. only to have to get in touch with other alternative medical professionals specialists. which they then only decide to aim to go over the desk staffs head anyway, to arrange an immediate emergency appointment. while outlining there disgust & outrage towards the entire situation.

The guy at reception had no clue what he's doing.. giving me details from someone else's sick note(I didn't even call for a sicknote) and blaming other people . Then refused to give my sick child and appointment for 2weeks! Even tho I was told at the weekend call appointment he needed to be seen monday morning AND THEY WOULD RING ME .I'd already been brushed off the week before due to staff shortages.. he became very aggressive on the phone when trying to explain my little boys condition ,he said he really didn't care and nothing he could do and children are not priorities and don't get any special treatment.. he was very patronising talkin down to me seriously he's a sick child. Guy needs sacked

Possibly the worst doctors surgery I’ve ever seen … no appointments only phone calls with a 23 year waiting list absolute shambles , they have designated staff 1 for coffee 1 for tea 1 to get the milk out etc etc simply pointless

Spent over 2 hours trying to get through to the doctors to be told they won't give you an appointment because the receptionist thinks they are a doctor and then they wounder why choc and a+e is over run 😩
