Royal Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital

My father in law spend there about 4 months .They treat people with no respect and don't care about their needs,especially Megan and Dr Badwan. I've had a hundred of phone calls a week from useless staff who could not provide basic needs to my father. I've been told if the patient has a shower at least once a week it's not that bad .Poor standards and even worst service.

Kind and efficient staff, thank you. To improve the patient experience would it be possible to provide a map of how to find the Rehab department when sending out appointment letters?

Outstanding service. I was referred at 2pm and treatment was complete by 4.30. Alison lee and staff were very professional, explained everything in detail, and I felt at ease. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Grandad with terminal brain cancer was put onto a stroke rehab ward. No updates from the hospital, limited/non existent visiting despite RAPID DETERIORATION. Lost his phone. Arranged wrong care on discharge and told us we would have to pay for it. described patient as cognitively sound when patient Absolutely WAS NOT. Didnt order hospital bed for home meaning patient was stuck for another week. Nearly didn't order it the 2nd time. No communication or support at all. Absolutely abhorrent experience. Avoid avoid avoid.

worst place specially Chadwick ward , The nurses are very irresponsible, due to covid i was not allowed in the hospital and they have killed my wife . When she was ill i told the nurses over video call that she is not well, they continuously telling she is tired. So be careful with the nurses and be careful with Dr. Rajesh Khurana one of the senior consultant in this ward. He does not know any thing. I don't know how he become doctor. Good bless you all , but avoid going to Chadwick ward in Royal Leamington Spa and if you don't have any option please then god save you . Be careful with Dr Rajesh Khurana we talk more about process and star assessment and act less with know knowledge on medicine. Only supporting staff's are good in this ward.

So first of I will start with a postive, some of the nurses and CSWs where amazing with my husband and couldn't do enough for him, however there does seem to be a culture of some of the staff talking to the patients like they are children and even arguing with them...for a rehab I'm shocked at how little rehabilation there actually is, there website is all singing and all dancing and what the patients get is entirely a different story which saddens me, these people are left sat in a chair or bed watching TV, there is no mental stimulation given, these people have all acquired brain injurys from various problems, and yet there left sat doing nothing for almost 10hrs a day! This needs to be looked into during these times of COVID, where family can only visit for an 1hr day

Got my first COVID vaccination there today. Very quick and well organised, helpful staff/volunteers, free parking. Thanks to all involved!
