The Old Court House Surgery

Horrible service! I was completely unsupported throughout the pregnancy, though my hospital sent a few letters to the surgery. When my hospital finally insisted I need to see a GP during weeks 32, 34, 38 (they said GPs have special funding for those cases), they refused the appointments. Moreover, the receptionist (Paula) theatrically laughed during the phone call. Really?!
I was with the other GP practice in a different area before and never had issues getting help from GP. With this surgery, I feel stressed and helpless every time I need medical advice.

The lady in reception was so not helpful and sounds like she hates her job.

Called them at 8:15am and try to ask for help with correcting my name on the document. All the questions I asked she only replies "please do it online, we won't be able to do this and that."

She seems annoyed.
I mean if you don't like your job you can choose not to work here instead of giving attitude to a patient for a public service.

Will not recommend this GP.

I haven’t thankfully had any bad experience with this Surgery. The receptionist I have always found helpful. I recently spoke with Dr Wimbush, and have dealt previously with many different Dr’s and found compassion and advice. Thank you.

I visited Kathleen Barker today, she is so polite and friendly and have a lot of patience to listen of my matter and advised me what to do.I’ve been seen so quick and also is before my appointment time too. And the reception staff are also friendly and helpful to dealing with my matter.

Receptionist are always very helpful no matter how many time I have to call them back. Kathleen is the warmest, most professional and gentle nurse I've ever met.

I have just been seen by Dr David Coldrey, and received excellent treatment..on time!

This GP surgery is the best in the area, after being at a shockingly bad surgery before I was apprehensive but the doctors listen, you can always get an appointment and the receptionists are friendly, I've just seen the nurse Kathleen this afternoon and she was kind, attentive and wonderful at her job.

I have been with this practice for years. I have complex medical stuff going on. The practice as a whole has always helped me, and GP and Practice nurses always support me. Sometimes you have to wait for an appointment, but always with good reason
Thoroughly recommend.
