Now I have got to love that you send them an official email and they attempt to contact you via phone so there is no record of contact. Smart.
My 3 year old daughter was having temperature for couple of days, we called the practice and were seen by Dr Panesar who said its viral and keep giving calpol and it will be fine.
My daughter condition didn't improved so we called again and explained the condition and what Dr Panesar said, we were informed that there are no records of my daughter seen by Dr Panesar, which was shocking.
My daughter started getting rashes all over her body, we got another appointment and this time were seen by a student who was practicing there, proper diagnosis was not done and a senior Dr Kudra was called, seeing the rashes, Dr Kudra instructed to give antibiotics (Amoxicillin) and asked to give it for 5 days.
Antibiotics helped to lower down the fever however her rashes got even worse, we called again and this time we got appointment for Dr Sablok, as soon as she saw that this rashes are bad and could be delayed reaction to Amoxicillin and prescribed Piriton and did mentioned if rashes don't subside than we have to take her to hospital.
As we were getting so many mixed answers we decided to go to A&E after long wait we were seen by child specialist who made it clear that it wasn't allergic reaction, it is post streptococcus infection due to incorrect medication given at initial stage when she had scarlet fever(which again wasn't diagnosed at this practise and we were told its just viral) if my daughter would have be diagnosed and given the right medication at right time she would have not had this infection and have been in much better state than what she is now and struggling for last 16 days.
I don't want to say anything now, just focusing on my daughters health and hope she gets well soon.
Based on this experience we will not be going back to this surgery.
I have had long period and it’s been 29 days that I still have it and the doctor in my last appointment straight away told me that she can’t help me anymore and my referral for hospital appointment with a experienced gynac can take upto 6 to 9 months , so what am I meant to wait that long and keep bleeding ? She had requested a scan for me in the same appointment and it’s been 3 to 4 days I dint get any appointment letter for that is there no urgency in this matter as having bleeding for 29 days cannot be normal , a hospital appointment takes long , an basic scan appointment takes time to come as well on top of all this she asked me to stop my medicine tranxemic acid as I took for 8 days and it dint help me and she prescribed me some iron tablets with continuation of the pill I was having , when I got my prescription I noticed that she has given me tranxemic acid again which she asked me to stop the same day and there were no iron tablets , there is so much negligence in this matter that m doubting my decision of being with this gp and I have lost my trust in what they prescribe to me or my family and now I have to think and consider a private hospital considering I got a quick appointment with the experienced gynac.
How r u suppose to feel when u have been bleeding for more than a month and you doctor tells you she can’t help you anymore and u just have to wait and all she doesn’t is gives me iron tablets which is only mentioned in her notes upon checking with the receptionist and not in the prescription, if something goes wrong with my health will anyone be taking responsibility for the same from this gP practice?
Update (16/4/21): Because of the above review on 12 April 2021, on my next visit to the surgery, I was shouted at and called names by the owner for writing a bad review, rather than discussing how they can improve. While NHS is getting showered with praise from all around, this surgery is falling to new low levels because of unprofessional and disgraceful behaviour. There is no sign of any respect for self or for profession. I am now taking this issue to next level, hoping to feed some sense in, the least I can do for community. At least others would now notice some improvements.
