I had a face to face appointment today with the delightful Dr E Jasem. I have never given a review before, not because its not been valid just because I've not taken the time. 9 times out 10 the service I receive is 100% thank you all at leacroft you are amazing 👏

Neglect is probably one of the most appropriate words for this practice and I have experience reaching back to the practices culture of this for over 20 years. Making an appointment is near impossible. The online system is confusing. The attempts made over the phone result in no callbacks or replies or appointments. I once waited over 20 months to a referral for a gastroenterologist as a registered autoimmune patient and only finally got the referral when I threatened to take legal action. My recent medical issue has not been attended to and as a result the issue has got so bad I cannot use the left side of my body properly. The service here feels dehumanised both in the reception and the GP interactions. It has gotten progressively worse year by year and is unrecognisable from the family practice it once seemed to be. You would have to be ashamed of yourself to run this practice and know that patients literally do not want to contact their GP because they feel like it's going to get no where and actual feel worthless - meaning they don't have access to the free health service that their national insurance ensures they get. It's a bit of a travesty in all honesty. It took 8 years for the practice to refer me to the correctdepartment to be diagnosed with my autoimmune system and was once told that if they referred me it would come out of their budget which they didn't want to do because it was tight...yes and eventually in 2010 I was given 2 years left to live and I was diagnosed when I was rushed to hospital in an emergency after being ignored. Had I not found alternative options to the NHS GP or specialist consultant options I would - by the NHS own admission - be dead. That was 13 years ago and it seems the service here has still not improved. I recently am involved in a personal court case and requested my medical records. Since then I have felt an even colder response from my GP to the point now where I don't even get a call back. Perhaps she thought I was finally suing and started treating me worse because if assumptions. I don't know for sure. All I know is I'm another patient not getting the service I require resulting in further and more worrying injuries that I am scared could lead to perminant damage to my nerves. Then they will have bigger problems with more patients requirements that are ongoing. It's time to start helping prevent issues from becoming more serious for yourselves, not just us with the problem.

dont know why they bother having a phone line because now when you phone you get told to go online .. cant even talk to find out why im constantly missing items of my perscription too .. drs also dont listen to your struggles either .. and lie to your face .. i had a joint appointment with my gp and mental health dr and was told were continue to work with you then never hear from them again and its not the 1st 2nd or third time this has happened i no longer trust these drs as far as i can throw them

After calling at 8 AM for a same day appointment ( related to an eye problem ) i have been told that a doctor will call or text me very shortly. After 5 ( FIVE ) hours of waiting and not being able to go anywhere or do anything, i have been called by a doctor that did not said his name and i was being told to go to Specsavers for an eye test instead of being sent to an ophtalmologist. Why do i pay taxes ? To be sent to pay for an eye test instead of being investigated by a proper doctor for free like any normal tax payer ?! Disgusting and not very professional behaviour from their side ! Very dissapointed !

Leacroft Medical Practice

So now I have to wait till tomorrow 6am and fill in another form and be again all day on the phone.
I do not understand why is so painful and so difficult to give the appointment
Without numbers of text or calls
Text ones with the time appointment!!!
Is it too difficult?!
I just have to wait and wait for a text two times then a call, ( wrong time) be next to the phone constantly and be paranoid to miss the call or next text. Seriously it is too much for people having medical problems
What the people wants want just to get appointment, get checked and get correct if possible solution to recover. And be able to be at work healthy and productive and be able to pay tax for the doctors and nurses!!
Interesting where can I find the easy way to get the GP appointment and see the doctor without all of this time taking routine which draining you on top of the illness!!
Very disappointed with the booking system at this practice.

I am trying to book the appointment with the nurse second week now. Simple appointment, to take the coil out.
I am in a sort of in the waiting list for the nurse to call me.
When? What time? No one knows.
I had said I am happy with any day and time, will organise myself for the appointment.
Then Was advise different staff. To wait for nurses to call back to me, anyway.
But I am working I can not sit and wait all day, every day for the call back. Was advised to go to the hospital to take the coil out. Really…simple 20 min max appointment so hard to get. Unbelievable.
If you not able to provide an appointment then tell. No appointment available!!

My only good experience at Leacroft was with Dr Ratcliff (apologies if I didn't spell the name correctly), very professional, friendly and to the point, exactly as expected from a doctor.
Most other doctors act like they are above everyone else, googling results in front of a patient was also regular occurence.

Last time I have been there however was about 3 years ago, as to get appointment booked is equal to finding the Holy Grail. Since 2018 I simply head straight to A&E, every call ends up with not having enough appointments for the day and booking one is not an option. What sort of a booking system is this???
Do we really have to be part of a rat race when trying to get help when we need it?
A few days ago it was actually my partner who decided to send an email and get in touch with the surgery on my behalf as she knew I wouldn't do it, 2 working days later we are still waiting for a reply.

Useless and waste of space would be the best way of describing this place. Better off with knocking the building down for some extra space at Langley Green Parade.

Getting an appointment is like finding dory in the sea. Receptionists think them self as Doctors, also they will give advices like doctors and they never book an appointment or never pass phone to Doctor- which is disgusting.
Apart from that
Very impressed with the Dr Jude and Dr Chaudhary the way they handle query and helped me diagnosing my problem and tried all their best to get tests booked and chases outcome. I would definitely recommend speaking to Dr Chaudhary and Dr Jude as they are very professional and friendly and always strive their best to help the problem related to health.

Minus 2 stars for Customer Service by Receptionists.
