College Road Surgery

This surgery doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating.
The receptionist has a foul attitude and is very rude.
I would never recommend this surgery to anyone. Everytime you go its a different docter. Their always late to see you but have the audacity of refusing to see you if your few mins late. Each time i think my experience can not get worse yet still some how they surprise me. This is the last time i use their service. They are a disgrace to the NHS!

Even one star is too high for this surgery.
I've never met receptionists who are this rude to patients.
I went down to the surgery to get a urine bottle for my midwife appointment for next week and i was wearing a mask. As soon as i walked in one of the three receptionists ( none of them were wearing masks ) just waved her hand telling me to leave without asking why i visited or anything. the way they talked to me was so rude and unprofessional. I had to try to calm myself down not to stress the baby.

I recently phoned to make an appointment for a private medical done, the lady on the other end said I had to come to the surgery and pay a £100 upfront before they even considered giving me an appointment, I know I have to pay for the medical, but to pay upfront, and the rudeness was unbelievable. No doubt I will be making a complaint to the relevant people and will Persue it to the fullest, they’ve picked on the wrong dog, who’s got a bone now,😡

I have to say that I am really happy to be registered at this practice. It is a small practice which is run exceptionally well. Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming and always offer to book me appointment quick. Where as my previous practice I had to wait at least 5 weeks for a routine appointment, I can now get one here the following week. I have been registered here for 6 months and I now know all the reception staff who always go the extra mile and give excellent patient care. The only issue I find is parking at the practice as sometimes there is no where to park and I find myself parking at the retail park and walking across to the practice.

Absolutely horrendous even upon instruction of hospital consultants no appointments available. Go to A&E is the response given.bno wonder the nhs is in crisis. very disappointing time and time again. Reception staff rude and incompetent. Need to learn to speak English and then learning the process of how to run a gp surgery successfully would be highly beneficial. If I could give no stars that would be more accurate.

The doctors i see, I cannot fault, they are really good, however the receptionist are appalling. I booked immunisations for my child as I received a letter, 2 weeks prior. I got a call on the same day of the immunisations saying he has to wait 2 weeks by law. I said, why wasn't I told earlier and why did the receptionist know, the lady replied i should of checked my child's red book as its not their responsibility to know? But they were the ones who sent me a letter to book my sons immunisations urgently?!! I then emailed the surgery asking for a referral for a complaint and I heard nothing back.

Most of the receptionist need training and a basic commen sense how to treat customers.

One star is too much, shocking surgery. Rude, probably overworked and underpaid reception, first appointment proposed one week later and rushed to end call, no phone manner, then once called back again realised the mistake so "an appointment is available in 2 days". Call by Dr late 20 min, no apology no phone manner again, not reading patient history and having zero clue of what appt is about. Referral not received and asking patient to chase it. Stay away

Worst GP ever, worst service, every time I call no appointments, my wife is waiting for 2 years so she can be referred for an ultra sound appointment and has not being done, called 4 times to see what’s happening all I’m hearing is we will refer her again! Called at 8am to book an appointment for my 2 years old with high temperature being told no appointment available!!! Receptionist are awful I’m sorry to say it but they are rude at its finest
What a waste of resources!
