Very bad service from reception team . They need consistency. Phoned 5 times in one week to sort an admin problem and everyone gave a different answer and the problem wasn't sorted. They all pass the buck . And the last receptionist said she couldn't do anymore and put the phone down on me even though I wasn't being rude I wasn't shouting she said she was busy and had other callers waiting . Bearing in mind this was 6 o'clock at night I really think she wanted to go home.

Service depends on the doctor that sees you. I have had very bad and very good experiences there. Receptionists/secretary have been always nice.
The main issue is that after moving here all my past history disappeared from the PatientAccess website and non of the exams/medications, etc. I have had since have been uploaded there either, which is a big con for me (you can’t check any result online, book appointments, see previous medications, etc)

As a family we’ve had cause to use the service of the Doctors quite a lot lately. We have followed the rules of calling for appointments and got them. We’ve needed information and help off the reception staff and received it and when we’ve asked politely, we’ve been helped and dealt with within a very good timeframe. There’s nothing to complain about. Thank you

Trying to get a appointment is bad enough then to sit there with a child you have taken out of school for over a hour is just shocking!!!

Low quality service. You can wait for app for 1 h without any information or apologise but if you late for 10min you are not seen at all. Trying to contact over the phone is also really challenging. Not really bothered.

Me and my family have called several times in the past month you will wait in the queue and get cut off every time . No appointment available such a shame as it used to be great

Superb surgery, lovely, caring, compassionate people all round - doctors, nurses, receptionists - just excellent. I had a severe situation recently, which they helped me through wonderfully and I felt so cared for. If you’re new to the area, looking at surgery reviews, Crabbs Cross Surgery is highly recommended.

I’m really unsure why this surgery has such bad reviews.
The reception manager is wonderful (lady with curly hair) if you’ve any issues she is best to speak with she’s reassuring too.
When I had an issue last year & the consultant rejected a referral (because of covid) the surgery were quick to resend a referral & get me seen. People complain they are unable to get appointments but that must be rubbish as I’m always able to get through, perhaps they are not calling early enough.
Unfortunately I’m their best customer, I seem to have all sorts wrong with me along with medical anxiety, but the surgery always get me what I want or need. I have been with other surgeries within Redditch before & been misdiagnosed & ignored. Things I’m still dealing with now.
Through covid it’s been hard for all doctors & the nhs, but Crabbs Cross Surgery have maintained their ability to look after their patients. If anything is a miss they’ll sort it. I’m really very picky about medical things, negligence, competence, safety etc & I genuinely don’t feel anything to worry about. The doctors & particularly the practice staff are very personal & make you feel welcome. Definitely a new feeling like years ago when you knew your gp. They are human unlike some surgeries where you feel you are talking to a computer.
