helpful , knowledgeable and very kind staff , I have been taken care by them for 6 years, so sorry I needed to register with a new surgery due to change of address. Thank you so much doctors , nurses and receptionists

Not impressed. Urgently needed to see doc following a, recent appointment earlier in week. Explained still in acute pain. No sympathy from receptionist just told earliest was 17th Dec. Total disrespect for patients and felt very unwanted and a burden.

Went to see Dr McCann ref an ongoing problem and have never had the misfortune to meet such an unpleasant Doctor before in my life (I am now 60). Uncaring, not bothered and totally defensive.
I will not be seeing him again

I am so glad I changed to this surgery. All the reception staff I have spoken to have been pleasant and helpful and the two doctors I've had appointments with have been very approachable.

While I am very happy with the nurses and receptionists at Mostyn House, who have been consistently polite, friendly and efficient, my repeated interactions with Dr McCann have been my worst health professional contact in over 30 years with a serious health condition. I have never come across a doctor who has held me in such contempt or shown so little compassion. Every time I have seen this doctor, I have been left feeling desperately dejected, and wishing I had not sought medical help at all. Every concern I have raised with my health has been my own fault, or ‘wasting their time’, or often simply treated as a lie. I would caution anyone against seeing this doctor, although unfortunately he is extremely easy to get an appointment for, presumably because the majority of patients would rather not get better than be subjected to this deeply unpleasant man.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone on behalf of Mostyn House for all the help. As I'm having ongoing care for my condition. Dispite the coronavirus, they have been my anchor. Brilliant surgery.

The reception and nurses are fabulous. They listen and will have a laugh with you if you are up for it.

Very professional service.

What a fantastic service. If you telephone for an appointment the call cancels if too many people waiting (my old surgery l could be on hold for half hour at least sometimes when getting through to reception no appointments left for that day). Mostyn House not had that problem. Within 3 days of phone call to surgery and after docs call back, same day as call, had audio dept phone to give me an appointment. Fantastic service, thank you all so much.
