Vernacare

**AVOID** this work place!! Far from professional, I was employed by an Agency (Clear sky recruitment) which I tried and tried to book holidays between them and Vernacare on numerous occasion but couldn't. When I eventually got the chance to book a week off with Clear sky, I was told they would email Vernacare to get permission and any issues regarding the holidays being refused they would let me know asap. I was told to just go and enjoy my week off, as I heard nothing back all week I assumed it was fine to then come the Friday (my last day of holiday) I received a phone call off Clearsky to say Vernacare had dismissed me for leaving them short staffed all week. With no other explanation an nothing but a sorry from the agency, I am now out of a job. I tried to contact management of Vernacare on many occasions after this but just kept being palmed off. If ever given the opportunity I certainly wouldn't waste my sorry arse time here again!!
