One of the friendliest and most professional shops in Cardiff. They fixed my fully broken iPhone in less then an hour, and now the phone is back alive! Would highly recommend them.

I bought a second hand but guaranteed Macbook Pro from Hassan.After living with it for a couple of weeks I found out that it had an intermittent fault with the keyboard and that the battery was in need of servicing. I took it back to Hassan for repair/replacement - which he did at some cost to himself.
Being human I contributed £25 to the costs that amounted to over £150.
He did not ask I offered.
As a consequence I feel safe in recommending his services but understand he is a small independent business that has to make a living .

I wanted to buy an Imac from the shop but the screen needed to be replaced although it was advertised on gumtree and there was no mentioning of the fact that the screen was broken. He replaced the screen eventually and I bought the computer. After 3 weeks the screen simply came down, obviously poor quality work was done. Of course he didn't replace my screen or cared about this situation. Now I m in the middle of a complaint. Avoid at all costs.

Went their to replace my phone screen (iPhone 10), the old guy is very experienced and explained me the procedure very clearly and fixed it while I was waiting. Highly recommend Solution Cardiff to anyone for mobile repair. Best phone shop in Cardiff area.

I bought iMac from them. Good value for money. They guy offered me a 2 months warranty. Planning to upgrade my phone and Solutions Cardiff would be definitely the first choice as I am looking for an affordable iPhone. Recommend this shop to tech-lovers.

I visited solutions after my laptop stop working and with the current situation I need repaired asap. They looked at my laptop and found the screen to be at fault. They even had a new one in stock. I was told the price which I agreed with and told to come back the next day. Following morning had a phone call to say was all fix. very fast and Fridley service would recommend 100%

UPDATE 1: Solutions Cardiff have now threatened me with legal action for leaving a poor review. :) so here's a disclaimer: I am not a computer repair technician. These are all my opinions and a review of my poor experience dealing with this shop.

UPDATE 2: They have also responded to this review, saying that if I was unhappy with their service, I would have gone in A THIRD TIME to ask them to fix an issue that, in my opinion, a competant repair technician would have diagnosed and fixed the first time. I did not go in a third time or contact this company, as after finding my issues unresolved on two occasions, any faith I had in their abilities was diminished entirely and I found it pointless to attempt to deal with this store.
Also note how they have said in point 1 of their their response that they would diagnose the problem. If a diagnosis was done, then why would I need to come in a second time. Their response is also full of falsities.
With #2 specifically: At no point during my collection did Hussain say that if I had any additional issues to come back, nor did he mention anything about replacing the fans, just that he had oiled and cleaned them. It was only after i had taken it back and found it rattling and overheating, that I then CALLED them (a point that they have neglected to mention through their "records"), in which Hussain first argued with me and THEN told me to bring it and he will look into it. Another phone call later following my second visit, was when I was finally told that the fans were broken.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely horrendous, unprofessional and unhelpful. Would not recommend angry man to my worst enemy.

Took my laptop in to get a diagnosis for suspected overheating, and Mr. Solutions *allegedly* did diagnostics and cleaned it (though personally I think the diagnostics were completely skipped considering what is to follow).

Once I had it back, I find the fans are now rattling like maracas and the laptop heating up so much I could cook my Sunday breakfast on the motherboard (Satire). Called up following day to ask if he had actually run diagnostics and genius repairman starts arguing with me as if I'm questioning his capabilities.
Took it back and massive surprise, the fans are broken. SURELY nothing could have predicted this, not even, say, if the angry man had done his job properly the first time and checked it out properly as requested.
Salty sarcasm aside, he replaced the fans and gave it back to me. I had the technician confirm that the only problem was the fans.
That's the end of that then right? WRONG.
Laptop is still overheating and I am STILL getting error messages on boot up saying the fan b90 isn't operating correctly.

I get the opinion of a different center and they tell me that while the fan may have been replaced, the thermal paste needed to be re-applied (a common cause of overheating which should be checked as part of a standard overheating diagnostic).

Had Solutions checked this over in the first place like a competent computer repair specialist would, I would have saved a lot of money, time, petrol, mental stability, and my laptops health. I don't recommend you go to this store, there are no solutions, only pain.

Been using Solutions for many years for both PC and laptop repairs for myself of for the company I work for. Always find Hassan and the team helpful charging very competitive prices and with fast turnarounds whenever called upon.
