Mortgages Plain and Simple

Austin and Georgie helped us with our first mortgage application and the service we received was excellent. We were expecting the whole process to be quite stressful but they made it so simple. They were great at communicating with us throughout, whether it was dealing with our queries or letting us know what stage our mortgage was at. I would highly recommend them!

We have used Mortgages Plain and Simple for a long time and highly recommend them. Following our suggestion, friends and family who have also gone through them always have a similarly positive experience. The team is friendly and approachable, and their responses are always prompt. The applications and processes are often complicated, but the team always clearly explains all the different requirements, so we know we are getting the right product for us.

Called up Mortgages Plain and Simple one lunch time after releasing it would take 3 weeks to get a phone meeting with new bank for re-mortgage product. After a brief discussion, Austin was able to confirm that was the best product available for us. Austin later notified me that rate would increase following day and he made sure everything was processed that day to secure the lower rate (same product that would have been more expensive we had waited).

Austin then had 2 weeks to further process product as provider was only allowing so many applications (probably wrong jargon here), however resolved very early on a Saturday morning.

Georgina then was great at communicating the process and information required.

Efficient, friendly and hassle free service. Will be going back for next re-mortgage! 100% recommend

A really efficient service provided by Austin, Georgina and Damien, swiftly dealing with our remortgage request to enable us to secure a competitive rate. The application was submitted quickly and communication was excellent. Damien is currently arranging our protection too. I’m not one to leave reviews but my partner and I cannot thank Andy enough for the effort and personable service he has given us throughout our mortgage process. He shouldered the responsibility and took majority of the administrative stress away from our application and for that we are especially grateful! For anyone looking for financial advice, starting out with mortgages or remortgaging I will point them in Andy’s direction without any hesitation!
